Octothechildherder · 07/10/2009 20:10

I ate a whole bar yesterday dh back tonight which is great news!

I got a fluffy mountain today but sadly not for me - it is the swindon baby fair for the next two days and have decided to sell off my nappy wardrobes ((((sobs)))) so if you want one - you will need to make me an offer lol! (((the colours match my house so tempted to keep but dh says atleast two have to go!))) Please do come along - at STEAM - run by Swindon Council, Wilts Council & Wilts Wildlife Trust - lots of stands and free stuff - plus that nappy making demo.

Am hoping dh will get a takeaway on way back from airport ... fancy curry or chinese - not fussy lol! Had sandwiches for tea and hungry already. Have made pack lunch for tomorrow. Taught today so think get hungier when have worked rather than faffed about on website stuff!

Octothechildherder · 07/10/2009 20:18

While im here, any advice on bf biters....before mine drop off, hes almost 7months and NO does nothing owie!

Octothechildherder · 07/10/2009 21:08

too late - choc dibbles from corners of mouth

no advice re bf biters - only choccie biters lol

LatinDAISYcal · 07/10/2009 21:16

kmummy, Dd was a biter; I feel your pain. I used to take her off and sit her on the floor facing away from me. that and have my finger hooked and ready to unlatch her swiftish. Eventually worked out that it was because she was either teething, or getting bored because she was a bit full, usually of food that tshe had had before it. I used to watch out for the boredom signs and unlatch her before it got to that, and watched the timings of food vs BM. She got to the point that she would push my hand away as if to say "no mum, i'm not going to bite this time". If she was teething, a teething granule or some tething gel before a feed used to help.

Octothechildherder · 07/10/2009 21:18

dibbles meant dwibbles!

newspaperdelivery · 07/10/2009 21:27

Hello dwibblers!

Another vote for teether granules. We give chamomilla anytime Harriet is a bit 'angry' they seem to calm her down.

Getting excited at using Harriets special Christening nappy. She has a linen dress with little green and aqua flowers embroidered on, for when the gown has to come off. So will have to keep all her aqua and cream nappies back for Sunday! I have 2 aqua BBH Magic-alls so thats good STill haven't had my mint itti returned from Green Baby after it went shody in the wash so thats a shame.

No nappy fluff post for ages here. Very sad.

I do need more wipes stuff though. I like the so scrumptious nuggets - any one else have any tips?

kmummy · 07/10/2009 21:33

Ha Octo...guess its a good thing anyway...slimming world wouldnt agree

Thanx for that ladies, im sure hes about to cut his first tooth so hes probably in pain...although the grin he gives me when i unlatch him may say something else! He appears hungry though, but could just be thirsty...im a bad mummy and dont offer a cup all that much at the minute, maybe i should...

Hopefully will sort this out and quick, that pain is up there with childbirth, im still hurting now!

Octothechildherder · 07/10/2009 21:37

I have a twee here for you twee (gawd hope no-one has speech issues lol) I am deciding what to attach it to for you! What size ittis are you in?

newspaperdelivery · 07/10/2009 21:37

I saw dd's dietician last Friday. She says they need loads of water. As in a good 8oz a day

I'm giving it from a bottle at the mo to try avoid the constipation.

Octothechildherder · 07/10/2009 21:37

(its fwee btw for being super fabby and need tester lol to see if they stay on)

Octothechildherder · 07/10/2009 21:40

mmm choccie biccies - am concerned will look like porker at baby show - crash diet required lol (worse - people could ask me if I am pg - the last person who asked me that was in a toilet queue in Cornwall - I had a bikini on - funny thing is I was but didn't know!!! lololol

Octothechildherder · 07/10/2009 21:42

she was mortified btw for asking - and she had a broken leg/in wheel chair - felt bad whenfound out was - thought should contact her through press to say she was right and not to feel bad lol

DH in Batheaston - rang to check wanted food - YES YES YES FGS - I am still up waiting to see you because you are meant to bring take away lol

newspaperdelivery · 07/10/2009 21:44

Me? What's that you say Octo?

4andnotout · 07/10/2009 21:50

Evening all

Octo: i think i have sorted out the spamming emails now, it's such a pain in the arse, sorry for spamming you all

Kmummy:Tilly-Grace has started biting in the last few days, probably as she has had 3 teeth appear literally overnight Im trying 'NO' and unlatching but it isn't really working yelp!

Tree: Hatties christening outfit sounds totally gorge, will we be able to see piccy's? Tilly-Grace still will only have a couple of sips from a bottle or cup, she does have a lot of bf's though, bit worried now that i need to try and tempt her into drinking more water.

The big party which we were going to on saturday was cancelled yesterday Kids were very upset as they were excited to have sparkly shoes and princess frocks However it has been rescheduled for November, so hopefully finances and weather will allow us to go.

newspaperdelivery · 07/10/2009 21:58

4 Ooo no - bfers get all the fluid they need Hatts is now on 2-3 bottles a day. Maybe 8-10 oz, so her system is a bit down on water in general.

There will be many pictures!.

Bummer about the party!I bet they were gutted.
