thebluefoxategreensocks · 21/09/2009 12:42

anyone selling a size large cute & funky boyish wrap? Please! Ideally looking for something with minky (furry/fluffy) outer, and embroidery even better! Thinking WN or UD, but happy to consider anything! Had hoped my UD wraps might be here by now, but don't suppose they'll come before Thursday - and I wanted Clement to have something irresistable when he has his hospital appointment (DMSA scan etc) on Thursday. So any ideas?

Don't have a wrap but have been thinking of selling WN pocket 'funky monkey' even though I've only used it 3 times!.Cat me if u interested.

Scotia · 21/09/2009 13:05

Ooh mumface, I've got a funky monkey one coming - hopefully tomorrow

Hello Jabula, I'm trying to avoid getting the bedbug bug, but I feel an order coming on...

Rachel, i'm not selling but hope Clement gets on ok at his hospital appointment.

Kmummy, glad you got your refund too.

mumface · 21/09/2009 13:14

I'm a bit annoyed that an Upsy Daisy OS pocket that I have recently got does not fit Lewis around the waist, as in I can't do it up at all! He is only about 29-30lbs.

Octothechildherder · 21/09/2009 13:18

I think I have found the natural baby nappy at last - doesn't seem to be available yet though.

LatinDAISYcal · 21/09/2009 13:25

Hi Jabula I said hello over on the other forum; I'm bumblebums.

Glad you found the nappies Octo

Scotia · 21/09/2009 13:42

Daisy, the pattern for the longies is here

Happy birthday to myjob's dd and 4and's dd

And I want to know about this natural baby nappy Octo...

Debs75 · 21/09/2009 13:59

Latin and ager it is the new style. Not very impressed with them at all. And as the tot bots are so big the other wraps I have don't give a good enough fit. Still an excuse to buy some more

LatinDAISYcal · 21/09/2009 14:07

thanks Scotia . I had managed to find that one on ravelry.
that's odd Debs; I had more issues with the older style tots wraps and think the new ones are pretty bombproof. Just shows that not all wraps and nappies suit all shapes!

Happy birthday to all the DDs

Scotia · 21/09/2009 14:33

Debs, have ou tried Nature Babies wraps. I had to get rid of my Tots and Motherease PUL wraps for the same reason but he doesn't react with the NB ones. I tend to use fleece wraps at night with no problems, and I've just bought some Upsy Daisy minkee ones and so far so good with those ones too

alysonpeaches · 21/09/2009 16:44

Hi, please help me out with Wee Notions. I posted another thread but octo suggested I post on here:

I was going to order a night notion as a night nappy for DD2. The choice of fabric is bewildering. I thought about getting a wrap to go with it too, but that confused me even more. I managed to choose a minky fabric for the night notion but cant work out if this is actually inside the nappy. Then couldnt decide what was on the outside and at that point considered the wrap.

Then I started to think that the wraps might not be that effective as I got a leak with an upsy daisy wrap at night, wondered if they were similar.
?
Has anyone been through the wee notions ordering thing and not been totally confused? Can you help me through it, and also tell me if their wraps are any good at night over their night notions.

Octothechildherder · 21/09/2009 16:49

(((someone who knows about WN please answer!)))

Scotia · 21/09/2009 17:13

Alyson, sorry I don't know about the night notions but don't want you to think you're being ignored.

Why don't you contact Wee Notions through their website and I'm sure they will talk you through the process. They really are very helpful and have always replied really quickly to my emails.

Then let us know what they say so I can order some too!

LatinDAISYcal · 21/09/2009 19:04

Hi Alyson [smile. Sorry I can't help; I looked on the WN site ages ago and got so confused by it all I haven't been back since!!

Octothechildherder · 21/09/2009 19:52

Alyson - the nappy garden sell them - they seem to be good at contact and advice

rusmum · 21/09/2009 19:57

sorry i know nothng either!!!

PS i am back!

Octothechildherder · 21/09/2009 20:22

Welcome back! Nothing to report

Debs75 · 21/09/2009 20:22

Thanks Scotia I use a nature babies wrap with the motherease and it is brill. The medium size is too small for the tot bots so might try a large size.

Oh dearmore wraps I am so addicted I even have different colours

swampster · 21/09/2009 20:39

Agree, the choice on WNNN is bewildering.

I've not got a NN (yet!) but I think it kinda boils down to something like this:

So, do you like fleece inside your nappy? What colour? Or would you prefer something different? (Cue mindboggling selection).

What about the outside of your nappy?

Do you like bamboo towelling? It is cheaper but it looks like... um... a towel. But it does the job. This is the sensible option.

So how about bamboo velour? Lush and strokeable, stretchy and absorbent! A winner, I think.

Or cotton velour? Not sure why. Ah! You can have it in blue or pink!

Or limited edition outer. Here you can choose a funky patterned fabric BUT it is non-stretchy cotton so can feel a bit stiff.

The Flutterby Fluff dyed ones look nice - quite Bedbuggy. But they are sold out.

Can i second, third and forth that! I took one look at the site months ago and ran away quickly with my tail between my legs feeling very out of my depth!!!

SO you are not alone and im also very sorry i cant help either.

Just sitting here ordering Ittis!

Have a good eveing all!

Babybots · 21/09/2009 21:51

Hello.

I have failed the WN test many times too. Although I like Swapsters flow chart post.

Bogged down in school starting here. Only fluffy news today is that I threw out a thirsties fitted in small raspberry. It had to be that lovely colour. But the poo was something else, it was all stuck in the aplic. She is about out of that size too
