Scotia - I have sold baby stuff before, asked how things went and not gotten replies after hearing some bad lead ups - makes me think the worst

I'm either this one or my usual spottyshoes on every site...

LackaDAISYcal · 18/09/2009 23:42

gosh myjobismum, was that you? I'm glad you are using it and getting on with it. I never did find the spare valve for it though! Did you have a different username back then? Your DD is only a few weeks older than my DS, is that right? He was born 1st November.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 18/09/2009 23:45

kmummy: Yikes, can't believe a needle! Too bad to think about! And yuck to a dirty nappy - it's bad enough to get something like that when it was nearly free, but I'm guessing you obviously paid more than a couple of pounds for this nasty nappy!

Hello nappy-obsessed types. I've just been mooning around the interweb looking at nappies. Quite fancy itti-bittis and I've just seen a good deal on ebay. So are they any good - particularly for a heavy wetter? I like the idea of lots of pop-in-able bits! Do you use liners with these? They're not pockets are they?

I don't normally frequent this thread as I use 2nd hand (well, 3rd baby!) bambino mios but I feel like treating myself so thought I'd find out from ones in the know

Thanks

yummyspottyblueberry · 19/09/2009 00:10

N'way 4???!!! I feel snubbed!!! Was only talking to the mother ship earlier! Didn't get an e-mail! Yes please email me and also where I can get the best iphone!! (building the xmas list!)

yummyspottyblueberry · 19/09/2009 00:15

and Kmummy WNSS are going on bumfluff for £8.50 a pop!! They are my bestest/fabbest & prettiest so far!!!

Scotia · 19/09/2009 00:18

Is it an exclusive club then?

PinkOne, I love my ittis but they don't seem to be so good for heavy wetters. You can use disposable liners with them, and they are not pockets. You just snap in the inserts and that's them ready for use - they are all-in-twos

They are also quite small made. Ds is nearly 8 months and has been in larges for a couple of months now, and he's not especially large himself.

Scotia · 19/09/2009 00:19

Bumfluff? Is it a forum or are they new nappies for that price??

newspaperdelivery · 19/09/2009 00:47

Hi all.

RL a bit hairraising with this new thing called school.........

and I'm doing a night shift tomorrow despite being on maternity leave. Sigh, I really am a saint.

{grin]

See you all soon. x

yummyspottyblueberry · 19/09/2009 00:49

No they are new but have gone up to £10.50 in the past 2 days!

bum fluff

I got my Berry Plush SS and WNSS from here for £8.50!

mumface · 19/09/2009 07:57

(Would love to know who these rogue traders are)
These forum boards rely a lot on trust & sadly not everyone has the same morals
Hope you all get it resolved soon. I was annoyed with a popular nappy website who hadn't sent me a nappy or sent a reply 4 weeks after ordering a nappy. I wanted to name & shame but I had a feeling there must have been a crisis for her & didn't want to badmouth her business so didn't. There was, and it got sorted.

Quidditch · 19/09/2009 07:59

Pink one - I don't think this is an exclusive club, but they all chat so much it's very hard to get a word in edgeways!! I've never seen such a busy thread! I think you either need to be on every minute to keep tracks or you get dizzy looking for replies!!!!

I don't like it when I get nappy diarrhoea, but verbal diarrhoea!! Love it! LOL

Octothechildherder · 19/09/2009 08:26

Oh no - poor UD Hope all goes well.

mumface · 19/09/2009 09:16

Thought I'd share a discount code I've just found that still works for Babykind. Wo4lo gives you 5% off.
I've just had to order another Imse foxfibre wrap the med was huge on Connor it leaked out legs. Have realised that Imsevimse small is similar size to ME medium.
Am veering towards 2 parters again now have a lovely Muttaquin,Bububebe & bedbug.
Must get round to putting small itti's for sale.

oneopinionatedmother · 19/09/2009 09:23

new red coola baby nappies received thank you - look very nice, feel nice, easy to popper down to the right size though probably just a day nappy...though plenty of space for extra boosting.

from jennys website

oh, i see she'll be on holiday.

Kmummy that is horrendous. I spend ages primping my nappies when I sell them! I sold some sandy's once and even though I said they were well used and had some slight staining, I felt terrible about sending them like that so spent three days soaking and line drying them to get the stains out!!! And I only sold them for £2.50 each!

yummy I know you too

BaronConker · 19/09/2009 11:03

Noone wants to buy my yummy spotty blueberry from CNT. It's lush, and like new condition, but I'm flogging it to fund my custom UD purchases which I've already paid for!!? Speaking of which, awful news about Amber's little girl, that's one of my biggest fears. Jamie LOVES dogs and just bounds right up to them, and you just don't know sometimes how a dog is going to react. Poor child., I really hope she'll be ok, but she'll probably be scared of dogs forever now.

mumface · 19/09/2009 11:32

Upsy Daisy OS pocket just arrived! Blue Paisly border cut with white cuddlesoft with chocolate inner & Blue paisly dragon fly. It's very pretty. It came fron Bibs n bots. They still have the pink version.

swampster · 19/09/2009 12:06

Just bumped you up, Baron. I put some stuff up last night, lots of looks but no takers. Probably because I'm pretty much an unknown there - been a member for a good while hardly ever posted anything.

Lovely stuff here.

ellielou02 · 19/09/2009 16:35

Hello Ladies
kmummy hope your DC are better today (have been lurking a bit) and thats awful about your purchase from classifieds.
I have just got a pop n gro off CNT in EEEEUC but it leaked within an hour and a half I am wondering if its not been washed enough but I remember someone on here not so long ago having the same ishoo I want to love it as it looks like it should be quite robust.
I cant belive there has been so much chatter on here I popped in about 10 days ago and there is a whole new thread

mumface · 19/09/2009 17:40

OMG, now I just opened dissappointing fluffy post. Don't want to say too much. Is someone off this thread having a laugh?!
