Maybe a shop isn't such a bad idea, not sure it would fit in cabot circus though

4andnotout · 04/09/2009 09:06

Has anyone got any of those so scrumptious soap pieces they don't want before i order some? I did have a few left but i can't find them

Babybots · 04/09/2009 09:09

4and, that reminds me, I got what was supposed to be a soap product in the post from someone on here, turned up as an empty envelope with a hole in it, in a plastic bag from the post office.

newspaperdelivery · 04/09/2009 09:37

Oooo Hebden Bridge. I love Hebden Bridge. I grew up in West Yorkshire

Oo to live near stuff - although our tiny nursery shop [we have 2 ittle ones as the biggies like M&P are 50 miles away] do have Wonderoos.

In dispos as we are levaing for my ma's on 1st leg of going on holiday. We keep thinking dd2 has no nappy on, especially dh

BaronConker · 04/09/2009 09:45

Blimey, muchos posting since I handed over the laptop at 9pm last night to DH! Can't keep up.

I reckon that Babybots secret nappy must be something completely new. I think I've seen something in pink paisley from the US... but then maybe I'm on the wrong track too!

Scotia · 04/09/2009 10:30

Kmummy , I'm just about to package them up.

Jenny, dh did that last week - I was furious! Not that he went out, but he had me worried sick as he said he would be home early.

There are some shops in Edinburgh that sell nappies but I haven't been in any.

Natty, thanks for that, I'll go for larges.

Also intigued by Babybots' new nappy

4andnotout · 04/09/2009 11:08

Scotia i saw some of your wnos, they are lovely

mumface · 04/09/2009 11:29

I think I may have found the secret new nappies. It's a different pattern of pink paisley. Google Boon nappies. They are mega lush! Hope it is them

sophietom · 04/09/2009 11:37

I got my Babybots order today, a red itti and a purple Coolababy- the colour is scrummy

Can't wait to try the Coolababy as haven't tried one before- will have to do fluffy laundry this afternoon

Octothechildherder · 04/09/2009 11:41

Bebeco have a shop in Corsham - it is lovely

I am going to wash my gro baby today - will let you know how it goes. My parents put ds3 in an unwashed brand new pop n gro (we went out for dinner) and he lasted 12 hours

Waiting in for UPS and hundreds of bags!

4andnotout · 04/09/2009 11:41

Not very keen on the pink paisley Boon.

Can't wait to hear your Coolababy review Sophie

sophietom · 04/09/2009 11:42

mumface those Boon nappies are gorgeous, I want one!

mumface · 04/09/2009 11:49

I like the black/white damask one although they do look like they've been made out of a pair of expensive curtains!

LackaDAISYcal · 04/09/2009 13:14

Do you all subscribe to the Itti Bitti fan page on FB? Lovely new prints coming from them, including a lovely white one with pink blobby shapes on it

I need some itti bitti d'lish

kitkatqueen · 04/09/2009 13:16

Hi ladies, can I get some advice please. DS1 is 20 mnths, he's in the old style motherease nappies with boosters and I'm using the Motherease wraps (I confess I got them very, very cheap ). DS2 is 12 days and destined for the tiny prefolds as soon as his cord is completely healed. I love all the gorgeous nappies that you can get, but just can't justify buying any more at the moment. I've got 20 ME, 20 flat and 20 tiny prefolds.

So my question is this!! What are you washing your nappies in? I am currently washing just the nappies on a prewash with a dash of white vinegar because I was told this would get rid of the amonia smell and then running them through a normal wash at 60 degrees with washing powder and a few drops of lavendar in the softener draw.

I've been doing this since May and they have been fine - all of a sudden they smell really chemically.

I have washed them through on a 95 wash just with washing powder and after that they seemed ok just got them out of the machine and they stink. Have I been given bad advice on the vinegar?

Is there anything I could be doing differently?

Please, please tell me what I should be doing.

TIA

4andnotout · 04/09/2009 13:21

Kitkat: I wash everyday (have 2 in cloth) with a pre rinse, then a 40* wash with bold 2in1, extra rinse then line dry. I dry pail. I used to use vinegar but tbh i can't see any difference when i don't use it

I wonder if they will be itti d'lishes or the fitted itti's with the new prints? Just as i nearly complete my collection they bring new bloody prints!

Have £13 burning a hole in my account, should i spend it on boring wipe solution or something else
