thebluefoxategreensocks · 25/08/2009 20:20

tree: was it not your replacement for a faulty Itti? I'll take a free nappy! LOL

Yorky · 25/08/2009 20:33

Can't say it does it for me Octo, what kind of fabric would the design be on - fleece, stroky plush, waterproof like PNG outer?

TheNatty · 25/08/2009 21:23

funny the ittis for sizing arent they lol.
my 7 week old fits in mediums. i decided to skip smalls as he is a heavy wetter so would prob not be in them long. we do have the occasional poo leak but no more then one a week.

i got my replacement disana pull ons. ordered large by mistake oh well they will go up to his armpits then lol

rusmum · 25/08/2009 21:36

HI all aid needed (again) love bamboo sandys- like geobel bamboo exept that the waist bit falls out (as as tight as will go) selling bamboo LL as too low for me. So what to replace them??????

purplesal · 25/08/2009 21:36

swampster - I suppose ittis are good value compared with any other "furry" nappies!!

But yes I do think they are expensive as they come in 3 different sizes. I know most people skip small but that's still 2 sizes of quite an expensive nappy.

I do think they're lovely to stroke but I still put them in the indulgent class of nappy - maybe I'm just a cheapskate!!

swampster · 25/08/2009 21:38

DS3 of small Itti fame also fits large Ittis pretty well. Small are just tiny and much cuter, large look more like a 'normal' nappy. I imagine mediums will be perfect right about now but so far I have resisted. [itchy fingers]

4andnotout · 25/08/2009 21:42

DD4 still looks silly in a large, you can run your finger in the gap at the legs, when will this kid chunk out? so i can cash in put her in larges!

Natty did you get the bbh's?

Rusmum did you get my cat?

twoclimbingboys · 25/08/2009 21:43

rusmum - sorry i don't understand your post? The waist of which type of nappy falls out of what?

My new favourite type of fitted has to be sweetiebums! They are so slim but very absorbent and a very sleek fit. I only have 3 and they aren't being made at the moment!

tree - I am holding you responsible for my purchase of 2 bags off octo. All of your decisions making tempted me - lol!

swampster · 25/08/2009 21:43

Ah, purplesal, the outers are so quick to dry that if you resisted all other nappies (other than a few good night nappies of course), you could get away with very few Itti outers and a good few extra inners so they can be a VERY cheap system, more like two-parters but much funkier. I never use a wrap more than once or twice, three times at most anyway when using two-parters unless wool or fleece, I find it a bit grim.

rusmum · 25/08/2009 21:50

No it didnt make sense- lol

love bamboo sandys BUT Quite big

Geobel trim But as applix when you fasten up as tight as can the front part (on her tum) kind of twists and falls out of the band.

So what can i buy to replave my little lambs (and poss geobels?)

That any better?? LOL

Cant bear to mix xystems

4- yes i did- thsnkyou i will take at least 1 BBH- poss 2- let you know asap- may also have a bbos to try!

twoclimbingboys · 25/08/2009 21:56

I get it now rusmum!

muttaqins are still on 3 for 2 - the babyshape are a fab fit but look tiny! Not as absorbemt as sandys, but fine for Blake. You may not like them though if you aren't sure about low in the rise nappies.

sweetiebums are great fitteds too but expensive and not being made at the moment.

WNNL are great but bulkier than sandys.

I am waiting for 2 flutterby fluffs, a WNSS, a WNAI2 and 2 guerilla fluff nappies atm. What is everyone else waiting for?

Scotia · 25/08/2009 22:07

I'm waiting for 3 Upsy Daisy wraps, ordered an orange sidesnap with gecko embroidery to add to the ones I ordered yesterday
Now I need to buy some more fitted nappies, and I think I'm going to get a couple of night nappies from Jenny. I've been using my fluffles and they have been fine for ds but I want to try a proper night nappy.

I know I'm going to regret this but where did you get your muttaquins 2cb?

rusmum · 25/08/2009 22:08

thanks dont hate sulk of sandy just sheer coverage- they take some covering with a wrap!!

mumface · 25/08/2009 22:11

I have on the way, a pumpkin pop-in, a Holdens Landing bedbud M/L in bee, and an Ivory med Itti.

rusmum · 25/08/2009 22:14

I have NOTHING coming where you all get the ££££

need ££ need nappies need £££ need nappies...............................................................................

mumface · 25/08/2009 22:16

Don't smoke,drink, do drugs, gamble...
I just like nappies

twoclimbingboys · 25/08/2009 22:17

scotia - from here use the code buy2get1 for 3 for 2 (even on the sale ones). I much prefer the babyshape to the front snap and i've heard good thinks about the 3SR, which are birth to potty.
The BV inner ones are a bit more absorbant but slower drying.

Scotia · 25/08/2009 22:26

OMG 2cb! What size did you buy?

rusmum · 25/08/2009 22:30

you are Oficially all bloody mad!!!!

rusmum · 25/08/2009 22:30
