OOOh the after pains were definitely worse 3rd time.Def remember thinking they were worse then labour pains and wamting to clonk the midwife when she suggested paracetamol!

3rd labour and birth was definitely the worst too and clearllt remember saying neveragain and I was glad I was done with babies now.

Well Dh and I 'did the deed' and he asked wether we should use contraception and I chickened out and siad yes. Each of our 3 children was conceived at the first go so was too scared to take a chance. My body, heart and womb are desperate for a baby but my intellectual mind says no

You may get one of those babies like mine that was just never happy. It means you can't go anywhere, the other children and your mental state will suffer horribly. You have 3 'good children'- don't upset the balance. The new baby may wake up the other kids in the night. It may not go in a pushchair and scream all day long. It could be a total nightmare, not this beautiful, cooing smiling bundle of love you are planning. I am speaking from experience, don't do it!!!!

...... Having said that ds is now the most amazing toddler so go on, do it, lol! Just be prepared that some babies are bloody awful and I really don't know how I would have coped if I'd had other children too.
