Obviously we love them, but what do you like most about them?

DS1: He has a wicked sense of humour already, and LOVES being scared witless, which is very amusing. He always shares too, usually without being asked to.

DS2: He's only 8.5mths, but he's so affectionate it's lovely.

I like the way they talk. They're funny.

And they both have really dirty laughs

threestars · 10/07/2008 22:55

Oh, and last week when he was wearing his dad's old Star Wars tee-shirt from yesteryear, he told me that Darth Vader had come down in a spaceship rocket, knocked on his door, and gave him the tee-shirt as a special present.

unknownrebelbang · 10/07/2008 22:56

DS1, very dry humour, with a slow smile that lights his face (he's very dour a lot of the time).

DS2 is a charmer and great with old ladies and babies.

DS3 can be very funny.

dd1-true grit and laughter

ds2- pure beauty inside and out

SNoraWotzThat · 10/07/2008 23:06

dd1 - brave, energetic, enthusiastic, beautiful
dd2 - happy, loving, kind, beautiful

OverMyDeadBody · 10/07/2008 23:09

DS's independance and confidence, his willingness to try new things all the time. His empathy, helpfulness and kindness too.

And his calm nature. I have never seen him panick.

MegBusset · 10/07/2008 23:11

I love the way that DS (17mo) copies me when I'm putting his eczema creams on him at bedtime, he pretends to squirt some cream from the tub and rubs his hands together then gently pats the imaginary cream onto various bits of me (legs, boobs, face). It cracks me up.

misselizabethbennett · 10/07/2008 23:13

DS age 6. His smile when I agree to 'lie with him' to help him get to sleep. It is pure contentment.

Foxymolly · 10/07/2008 23:19

Oh your so right misselizabeth, it is purecontentment when they snuggle up to you. I love them moments.

DD (4.11)- Is very loving and kissy and huggy (to me anyway), is very intelligent, gives me lots of compliments, is full of energy, very enthusiastic and imaginative (nursery teacher said she was a joy and inspiration to be around, which made me well up), very funny, outgoing (lots of the time very silly), confident.

DS- (20 months) so gaddamn cute, really fat and squishy and giggly just want to eat him up. His mannerisms are hilarious, the way he says oooh in an old woman type way whenever he finds something, or ohdear whenever he falls flat on his arse. He also gives me lots of lovely open mouthed kisses and also the way he eats, the way he gives me a cheeky smile when he is doing something he shouldn't.

AbstractMouse · 11/07/2008 00:16

Aaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggghhhhhhhh I want 25 children (and a fleet of nannies)

AbstractMouse · 11/07/2008 00:22

sorry for all the posts. but I love that morning grin, when they are so glad to see you.

Used to look after my niece, put her to bed and go in 30 mins later she would wake up and think it was morning, got the most amazing grins lol.

She also used to cling to me after a night out, to piss off her mother lol (wonders who was training who)

DT1 for his rugged independence

DT2 for his sense of fun

They are both 11 months old

micci25 · 11/07/2008 00:29

dd1 is incredibly smart, funny, beautifull, mischeivous and confident.

dd2 is very very happy, calm and cuddly and EATS normally, yes she actually EATS!!! that was enough to make me love every single bit of her, even her full nappies!!! although she is becoing more like dd1 every day and has a penchant for mischief already!!

Swedes · 11/07/2008 00:32

DS1 is a great comedian and a brilliant communicator he is always smiling and cheerful
DS2 has a totally off-beat sense of humour and he holds stats in his head like noone else I know He is also very very kind and sensitive
DD1 is very funny and loves it when everyone is laughing
DS3 is the calmest person on the planet.

I can't wait to find out what they are all going to be when they grow up. I'm looking forward to it.

theressomethingaboutmarie · 11/07/2008 11:41

Our DD (9 months) gets so excited when I collect her from the CM. Also, when she wakes up in the morning, she almost sings to herself and when I go in to her room to feed her, she gets really excited and kicks her legs in the air.

Also, when we are sitting together, she touches and squishes my face whilst smiling and talking to me. she makes me feel so special and lucky to be her mummy.

I also love the way that she gets really excited around other children.

I am absolutely in love with my daughter.

Foxymolly · 11/07/2008 13:23

AbstractMouse, dd (8 months) gives me those open mouthed kisses - so sweet

lizinthesticks · 11/07/2008 20:22

DD1 - strong and brave + always quick to smile/laugh

DD2 - cuddly, determined, giggly

mylittlepudding · 11/07/2008 23:33

DD is hilarious, it is currently like having a large parrot in the house. The "mummy, mummy, mummy" when I collect her from the CMs. The way she asks for "cuggles". The way she giggles. She plays hide and seek - she hides and shouts out her name until you find her. She started this before she ever went to childcare - how did she know about it? She does amaze me.

gemmiegoatlegs · 11/07/2008 23:34

ds says "I'm nit a baby, but I'm still your baby aren't I?"

gemmiegoatlegs · 11/07/2008 23:36

*not

EyeballsintheSky · 12/07/2008 00:15

DD (6 months) and I sometimes have a lie in if we don't have to be anywhere. She falls asleep on my chest and I doze off. Then I feel her move so I open my eyes and these two big blue eyes are staring at me and she's got a huge smile on her face. The bit I really love is that I can tell she was smiling before I opened my eyes. I watch her when she's asleep and it feels like she's doing exactly the same to me

HmphreyCushion · 12/07/2008 00:24

DS1: affectionate, imaginative, kind, friendly, happy and outgoing. He's quirky and original, and is completely happy with who he is. He makes me breakfast in bed every Sunday morning.

DS2: affectionate, determined, generous, resourceful, witty and silly. He is honourable and protective, and always tries his best at everything he does. He is saving up to buy an Aston Martin, and plans to pick me up in it and take me out to lunch.

I love that they are both completely accepting of everyone they meet, and that they are both keen to try new experiences.

They amaze me, make me laugh, and make me proud on a daily basis.
