Anyone with kids with closeish birthdays?

DS turns 2 at end of Nov, the day after I turn 37 weeks pregnant with his sister.

as he was a bigger baby (3 days early too, ELCS) they do not want to let me go over my due date. So either, sweeps from early as possible, induction or another ELCS.

I am leaning towards trying for a vaginal birth, but if they’re saying they don’t want me to go over my due date Which I get because I’d be scared to give birth to a bigger baby, then DS and DD’s birthdays may be a week / two weeks apart (3 at max but I’m assuming they’d like me to come in earlier and not go right up to Due date)

has anyone got kids with birthdays within a month of eachother? Or few weeks! DD will definitely still be born December, I don’t believe I need to be induced on 37week mark which is day after DS birthday so I’d probably be either 38/39 so will be a week or two from his birthday

i have terrible mum guilt:( even though I. Will do everytning to make their birthdays seperate and special! Always

A friend of mine has her girls birthdays 1 day apart (2 years between) and they are fine, they will get treated as separate birthdays, nothing to feel guilty about. And joint birthday parties when older is also fine.

A friend of mine was born on Xmas day, that is harder to make special, but her mum always managed it, had living decorated for Xmas then bday presents and Dec's in the dining room and she made it clear to family no joitlnt bday/Xmas presents, need to be separate

I had dc’s birthdays on 25/09, 12/10 & 31/10 didn’t do them any harm at all. In fact it was when my March child had a birthday it had the most affect because he had presents then & they had to wait another 6/7 months for their birthday 😂

DD1 born on 30/12/2021 (due 18/01 but emcs), our surprise is due on 12/12/23 (elcs 19/12) plus Christmas in between 🥲

My twin sisters and I were born two years and two days apart AND within three days of Christmas.
I hated all the joint birthday parties and joint Christmas and birthday presents.
I made very sure that my DCs were born mid year and well apart!

3 out of my 4 were born in December!

a relative is in the same position.
the dc are a week apart in early december.

they decided early on not to give their dc christmas presents but to have parties and presents in may/june instead. they still mark the birthdays with presents & cake and dc receive plenty from relatives for christmas.
