Is this touching appropriate?

Just worried about whether this touching is appropriate by a father on his 8 year old daughter? He applies her moisturiser after bath (basically all over), but the mother allows the girl to apply her own when she is caring for her. He also slaps/kicks his kids naked bums. Would you have a word, or is this normal?

Woah NOT spot on in my opinion or any of my many friends and family members opinions @Rainbowshit but if you feel the behavior described by the OP is acceptable then I would say you have issues and need help not me!

And an 8 year old would generally not be a ‘naked bum running past.’ It isn’t really average behaviour for an 8 year old to be running naked through the house while her dad kicks and slaps her.

It would in our house... 😂 My daughter hasn't grown out of the 'finding bums hilarious' stage and loves running around with either her top, bottoms or both off 🙈

That being said, her dad wouldn't slap her across the bum as she ran around. I think the moisturiser thing is okay but the bum slapping is a little odd imo

It’s the kicking I find odd. I notice all those insisting it’s perfectly normal and regular behaviour are just deleting/ignoring the kicking. Why would a dad be regularly kicking his daughter’s naked bum?

If you think is odd. And he has shown abusive behavior, it probably is. Words cannot describe the situation, I would talk to the kid to see if he finds it fun or uncomfortable

I wouldn’t be surprised. It is absolutely grim. Why haven’t MNHQ deleted it?
