Exact same age as my mum. We were both 24.

disneydatknee · 10/04/2023 01:43

Younger. I was pregnant with my youngest (and will be our last one) at the age my mum was pregnant with me (her first child)

Mylittlesandwich · 10/04/2023 04:04

Older by 3 years. Had I not miscarried I'd have been younger by 1.

Ragwort · 10/04/2023 04:06

Nearly 20 years older Grin. My DM had me at 24 & I had my DS at 42.

LoveSong · 10/04/2023 04:24

Older.

They were young. And completely incapable of parenting.

StopStartStop · 10/04/2023 04:36

Not much in it.
My mother was 22, a few days from 23.
I was 24.
My dd was 29.

ShippingNews · 10/04/2023 04:41

My parents were in their late 30's when I was born, due to infertility problems. I was younger, 27 and 31 when mine were born.

ShadowPuppets · 10/04/2023 04:55

My mum had her DC at 30 and 32.5. had mine at 31 and just 33. So I was slightly later, but not by much.

SquigglyGum · 10/04/2023 04:58

Younger.

I was 33, dm 38 and df 37.

justanotherlaura · 10/04/2023 05:29

15 years older, she was 23 and I was 38. Feels strange to think she had 3 teenagers by the time she was my age and my baby isn't even 1 yet!

EllandRd · 10/04/2023 05:36

Older

BatshitCrazyWoman · 10/04/2023 05:40

Younger.

NatMoz · 10/04/2023 06:04

Younger. I was 32 and my mum had me at (just turned) 35.

saltwater1985 · 10/04/2023 06:18

Younger.
Mum had me at 40, I had DC at 24,33 and 35.
Didn't want to be the 'older mum' that she was/is

haveyouopenedyourbowelstoday · 10/04/2023 06:19

A bit younger- mum was 30 having me, I was 26 having my first.
But I became a nana at 52, she was 57.

DustyLee123 · 10/04/2023 06:20

About the same age when I had my first. I hope mine don’t have kids so young, I hope they travel first.

kikisparks · 10/04/2023 06:23

Older.

stargirl1701 · 10/04/2023 06:24

Older by a decade. Mum was mid 20s and I was mid 30s.

Dontsparethehorses · 10/04/2023 06:28

2 years younger

lucylantern · 10/04/2023 06:30

Younger. But I think statistically it’s more common to be older these days?

Pahpahpotato · 10/04/2023 06:30

Slightly older. DM was 25 when she had her first, I was 26.
DM did then spend the next 10 years having lots more babies… I don’t think I’ll be quite the same but a couple more wouldn’t hurt.

GiltEdges · 10/04/2023 06:31

7 years older than my dad, 2 years older than my mum.
