@georgarina ah thanks for asking about the teething. He's doing ok with it - but he does also have a slight cold. Didn't wake until 5am this morning so that was... Well better than multiple night wakings anyway.

B overnight oats with grated apple, blackberry and cherries, Greek yogurt

S half a banana

L Beetroot and lentil soup, bread, cheese, cucumber, plum

S home made strawberry rice pudding

D More of the bean and mushroom dal, rice, tomatoes, kiwi, apricot

My top tip for the overnight oats 🙂 I picked up a load of reduced price cherries and blackberries and chopped them up really small. Froze in ice cube trays with some apple juice. I soak the oats in the fridge overnight in a little apple juice with one of the fruity ice cubes on top. DS doesn't really like cold foods so in the morning I add grated apple then microwave for 1 min before adding the yoghurt.

20 month old DS has a freezer day Blush

Breakfast - boiled egg and soldiers
snack - banana
lunch - fish fingers (two) mash and peas
snack - tangerine
dinner - chicken Kiev, mash and mixed veg
Pudding - yoghurt

he doesn’t eat much compared to many on this thread.

Mine loves his freezer food too! He gets very excited for turkey dinosaurs and smiley potato things lol

We've just entered a bit of a fussy stage and I feel a bit limited in what I know he will eat. Thankfully his 7 month old sister is being weaned so what she eats suddenly looks interesting to my 21 month old.

Flittingaboutagain · 01/09/2022 23:34

Today my one year old tried homemade arancini for the first time and loved it. It was super sticky so such a mess to clean up from under her bib and the floor!

Dinner was leftover bean cassoulet and an aubergine and courgette dip, satsuma and pear. She didn't ask for the boob immediately after leaving the table so I think she finally filled up!

Generally finding she's eating better for her evening meal now but has gone off breakfast apart from plain natural or Greek yoghurt and fruit this week.

We have taken to experimenting with using our le cruseut knock off casserole dish to see what we can make without too much fuss.

CatSeany · 01/09/2022 23:36

B - toast and strawberries
