What did your 1 year old eat today?

Thought this might be interesting/helpful for people looking for new ideas! Currently struggling so would love inspiration...

Yesterday (DD allergic to dairy and egg) -

B: Prescription milk, porridge, banana

L: Oat cakes with tuna and vegan mayo, peas, apple

D: Quorn cocktail sausages, corn, rice, mangetout, blackberries

Some great inspiration on here!

Mine is 18 months old and she had today

B- Cheerios
Snack at 10, banana and a bit of my pain au chocolate
L-savoury rice ( simple mild curry powder, vegetables like sweetcorn, carrots cooked together) and a kiwi
Snack around 3ish- jaffa cake
D- fish fingers, home made potato wedges and peas followed by a yeo valley yoghurt

She also have milk in the morning and before bed. X

LOL the windshield wiper arm of doom @georgarina Mine hasn't tried that one yet. But he has learned to shake his head and is doing so with great enthusiasm.

Was at nursery today where he had a creamy chicken thing for lunch and various snacks, more beef stew for dinner so a very meaty day.

Today for 19 month old DS:

Breakfast at home: slice of malt loaf, glass of milk and handful of blueberries.
Breakfast at nursery: two bowls of Rice Krispies.
Lunch: chicken casserole and cous cous, peaches
Snack: crackers and cheese, hummus and cucumber sticks, apple slices.
Dinner: cheese & potato pie with half tin of beans and two florets of broccoli. Handful of blackberries that he picked himself and a banana

20 month old DS has a freezer day Blush

Breakfast - boiled egg and soldiers
snack - banana
lunch - fish fingers (two) mash and peas
snack - tangerine
dinner - chicken Kiev, mash and mixed veg
Pudding - yoghurt

he doesn’t eat much compared to many on this thread.

Today, my 13 month old had:

Breakfast - half a waffle with homemade berry compote
Lunch - spaghetti with tomato sauce, a couple grapes and some corn puffs
Snack - homemade blueberry biscuits
Dinner - pasta e ceci and peach (also serve a potato & carrot nugget thing but LO just smashed it into bits lol)

Teething atm so lots of tears and Calpol! Today we had

B: porridge with mixed seeds and almond milk, nectarine, blueberries

L: chicken drumstick, quinoa, steamed cauliflower with olive oil, 2 tangerines

D: baked taquitos with leftover chicken, quinoa and cauliflower again, 2 greengages

14 months-
toast and butter two slices ate all
sausage roll and an apple ate all
4 fish fingers and spaghetti hoops ate 1/2 as his teeth started to bother him.
a yoghurt ate all

2 glasses of milk and 4 of water

my 13 month old vegan ds had today:

Breastmilk on waking
B - Oat & banana American pancakes with oatly Greek yoghurt, raspberries, nectarine
L - koko cheese sandwich, cucumber & tomatoes
Breastmilk before nap
S - breadsticks, hummus, raisins, apple
D - homemade pizza with mushrooms, tomato salad, garlic bread
Breastmilk at bed and 1000 times overnight 🤪

Yesterday was the same breastfeeds and then:
B - Oatibix with oatly barista and strawberries
S - baked berry porridge & a banana
L - jacket potato with baked beans, vegan cheese, mushrooms and salad
D - Wagamama vegan cha Han

We also supplement omega 3,6&9 as well as a well kid multi vitamin

B Porridge with apple purée and blueberries

S half a banana

L Scrambled eggs, ham, bread and butter, tomatoes, apple slices

D chicken thigh, mashed swede, carrot, broccoli, plum slices

Right now - Calpol and breast milk. He's teething too

L: boiled egg, crumpet, broccoli and peas followed by yoghurt and tinned peaches

S: another rice cake with peanut butter

T: homemade vegetarian spaghetti bolognese followed by yoghurt

Today:

B Weetabix and half a banana (a popular choice it seems), toast with butter

L Pea, spinach and broccoli soup, bread sticks with hummus, tomato, raspberries, a tiny vegan shortbread biscuit as we had vegan friends over and I'd made some normal sized biscuits for us. See image of my blobby icing "skills"

S the other half of the banana, some blackberries we picked on a walk

D Black bean and mushroom dal, rice, carrot sticks, green beans, satsuma

@DandelionNumber12 its a deliciously ella recipe just blend them up with some oat milk, fried onion and garlic, nutritional yeast, tumeric & miso paste. Honestly takes 20 mins to make the whole meal!

Hello all, great idea for a thread!

Today, my 12 month old (with CMPA) had:

Breakfast: scrambled egg with (vegan) cheese, half a banana.
Lunch: sardines, cucumber, pepper, tomatoes, mushrooms and toast. Grapes.
Dinner: chicken and courgette pasta. Raspberries.

Snacks: Kiddylicious coconut rolls and cheese crackers.

She's also breastfed.

Going to read back over the thread to catch up and looking forward to sharing ideas ☺️

DD (23m) with many allergies including egg, had:

W: Toddler soya milk
B: Weetabix with hot oat milk
D: Bagel with cream cheese and honey (left most)
Nap
D part 2: a yoghurt, cheese on toast,
T: mini salad, beef burger homemade, sweet potato
Dessert: fruit (berries) and a digestive biscuit

Yesterday 10 month old CMPA DS had -

Breakfast - weetabix, oat milk and banana (the most popular baby breakfast in the country it seems!)

Lunch - orzo salad with tomatoes, peppers and salmon fillet

Dinner - scrambled egg with spinach and garlic, baked sweet potato, fruit purée pouch

Snacks were a carrot cake oat bar and 15g of blueberry muffin (milk ladder)

Today -

Breakfast - Ella’s kitchen cereal, vanilla oat milk, nectarine

Snack - kiddylicious apple bar

Lunch - pitta bread, hummus, chicken slices, cherry tomatoes followed by 15g blueberry muffin (milk ladder) and a pot of chocolate pudding (vegan recipe - made with avocado and banana)

Dinner will be homemade turkey meatballs with pasta and tomato sauce

18 months old

Breakfast- crumpet with butter, whole banana, handful of blueberries

Lunch- crackers with Philadelphia, cucumber sticks, quartered cherry tomatoes, a plum and a bag of wotsits

Dinner- oven baked salmon fillet, mashed potatoes, brocolli and frozen peas

Yoghurt and melon for dessert and 1 cup of whole milk before bed.

We had

B: toast and peanut butter, nectarine
(DD then somehow found the peanut butter jar, opened it, and was eating it/smearing it around the kitchen before I found her)

L: dairy free lasagne (not well received), quinoa, falafel balls, banana

D: wrap with vegan cream cheese, quinoa, chickpeas, broccoli, Quorn sausages, corn on the cob
Fruit lolly

We've also been trying the plant based Babybels - texture like greasy crayons and they smell awful but she seems to be eating them!

11 months

weetabix with formula milk and raspberries (doesn’t drink milk 😩)
toast w cream cheese

pasta w broccoli, carrots and peas (leftover from last night’s dinner)
blueberries and apple purée
baby biscuit

porridge with formula

lentils, sweet potatoe and carrot purée
rice cracker
raspberries

breastmilk before nap
snack - banana, sultanas, sunflower seeds
lunch - sun dried tomato and cashew dip, breadsticks, blueberry oat pancakes, mango
dinner - couscous galette, tomatoes, apricots, red pepper, cucumber
breastmilk before bed
