Certain parents choose to do this and have done successfully with no impact on their children.
I know of several families who have raised successfull and happy children who don't have a phone, xbox, ipad etc.
How hard was it?
We're you successful?
Any tips?
I'm minded to say no phone or pad until 16/18 but xbox or PlayStation but not connected to the Internet.

Mine are only young but for us it's about introducing it so they can use tech safely and sensibly.

I remember going to uni and those of us who'd be drinking alcohol for years all just cracked on with the partying, but the ones who were only getting their "freedom" away from home at 18 were the ones in the back of ambulances or lying in bed for days thinking they'd got alcohol poisoning. I think it's the same with tech, if you let them use it while you can have some restrictions and boundaries then that's better than suddenly handing over an iPhone at 16 when you can't teach them anything!
