i love the smug threads - fantastic entertainment. what is a 'restaurant voice'?

apparently one has an indoor voice an outdoor voice and a restaurant voice. (i think i kind of switched brain off during some smug silly buggery bollox!!)

I was smug until ds turned 1 and started walking. It is easy to be smug when you only have an ickle ickle baby.

I breastfed all my children til they were 10 (difficult with 3, but not impossible!!!), we only have wooden fairtrade toys in the house and we never eat anything with breadcrumbs on. Oh, and I still sleep with all three too so that they never feel alone. My husband left me two years ago, but that's okay because I also have a simply divine handyman who never seems to charge me.

Where is that smug thread (seems to have dropped off active convos). What subject is it in?

I breastfed my children until they were 11 (peatbogfaerie) and I make all their solid foods from fresh ingredients. My children have never ever watched a moments TV and instead are trying to cure the worlds illnesses when they come home from school. I am also extremely gorgeous, as are my children and DP tells me every day that he is the luckiest man alive.

oh, and robin, did I mention that we never never go anywhere by car or plane, just walk or by train? The trenchfoot's been a bit of a problem this winter, but the t-tree oil's cleared it up a treat.

Yes it's true we have to travel by car and train in order to fulfil our daily charitable commitments....similar to the Queen I guess. Not going to be long until my talented and gifted 18 month DS2 figures out teleportation though...he's nearly there. Yesterday he teleported his dinner in to the sitting room somehow...I couldn't believe it.
