Hello my lovely ladies and your beautiful babies. How is everyone doing!

Update from me...
Josiah is eating 3 times a day. He is also trying to crawl bless him, he does go backwards... still learning to go forwards,... he is rolling from back to front and side to side.. his character is changing. He is looking different everyday... he will be 29 weeks on Wednesday... hope your all doing well.

Hey @tashx aww bless I hope it goes well for her.... aww Jesse.... nayla's baby is very very good I must admit for eczema. My sister used it for my nephew and omg has it worked a treat. Price ranges from £5-£8 in boots. Worth checking it out hun. Glad Jesse is doing well tho. Bless him x

Hey,

Seth has mastered rolling from back to front now but then just moves around on his tummy in a circle. I can see he wants to move more but he can’t so then gets frustrated. Think he’s having a hard time holding himself up on his arms too as he then drops flat and cries even though he knows how to roll back he just doesn’t, bless him.

weaning is interesting 🤣 he doesn’t seem to like anything I’ve given him and barely eats a mouthful unless I spoon feed him purée but I’m really wanting to do more baby led weaning than purée so I’m finding it a struggle at the min.

stupid mum question alert!!!! Seth has 2 teeth but at what age can you use toothpaste and what toothpaste is suitable? Feel like I should know this but I really have no clue 🤦🏻‍♀️

jadey1991 · 04/07/2022 23:49

@Decadesbcun aww bless him hun. He will get the hang of it soon. Josiah was like that... oh no he is a fussy eater is he❤️.... I got this off the nhs website....

However I won't start bruising josiah's teeth till he is one like I did with my other 2 kids.

But It's up to you. I'll attached the toothpaste too

You can start brushing your baby's teeth as soon as they start to come through. Use a baby toothbrush with a tiny smear of fluoride toothpaste. Don't worry if you don't manage to brush much at first. The important thing is to get your baby used to brushing their teeth as part of their daily routine.

So today he had the Ella’s kitchen tomato and leek melty sticks and loved them. He ate the 2 I gave him then had another. Progress but he also can’t live a life on crisps 😂

i give him a toothbrush to hold while I brush mine at the min and he sometimes chews it but not used toothpaste yet.

jadey1991 · 06/07/2022 20:15

@Decadesbcun bless him I'm glad he enjoyed the sticks. He must look so cute with his toothbrush in his mouth x

Happy 4th July everyone from from the USA! 🇺🇸 So lovely to see all your beautiful babies growing up sooo fast. Sorry for the delay in posting my pics - just got back from Jacks pediatrician, who wants me to introduce peanut butter powder to test if he’s allergic! I’m frightened to try it in case he is, is that something you moms are doing in the UK now too? Any comments welcome. I just love this group 💙

@JW2021 happy belated 4th July hun. Jack looks so damn cute.... I haven't been told to try Josiah on any peanut butter powder. I can't speak for anyone else. I will get him tested tho because my eldest daughter is allergic to peanuts... my youngest daughter is allergic to cherries and pineapple... so I will get him check

Hello, hope everyone's doing well and babies are ok in this heat. Dexter has become a very well travelled baby as we just had to go to France for a few days as unfortunately my dad died out there last week. I'm so grateful we got to go out there in April so that he met his newest grandson but my brother is getting married out there next week and it's just devastating that he won't be there. It does mean Dexter will have been on a plane 6 times in just over 7 months as we are flying back out on Tuesday for the wedding.
No sign of Dex being able to crawl yet although I think he's getting very frustrated that he can't! He's on three meals a day with formula during the day and feeding from me morning and night.
I dream feed him when I go to bed and that normally takes him through until morning but something he'll wake once, it isn't too bad. Can't believe our babies are over halfway through their first year! Hope everyone else is getting on well x

Curlymam88 · 16/07/2022 11:43

@burtle4 I am so so sorry to hear about your dad. I'm glad you got to see him back in April and he got the chance to meet Dexter. I know the wedding will be hard without him, but im sure he'll be there watching down on you all. Take care of yourself.
Leola is 7 months now, and it was my birthday yesterday. Was lovely celebrating with my 2 girls.
Thought I'd let you know about these fruit feeder dummy things I've bought that I've found really useful. Strawberries, peach and she tried pineapple this morning etc. I was finding difficult to cut up and feed her so you can stick the fruit in these dummy things and when she sucks the dummy the fruit and the juices come out in little bits. I've also put them in the freezer which she loves to suck on in this heat. Also helps with her teething. Thought I'd let you guys know about them. Picture below of her chomping on it 😂
Hope everyone is doing ok and babies are doing good xx

burtle4 · 16/07/2022 11:49

@Curlymam88 thank you ❤️
I tried one of those fruit holders with my first child but didn't get on with it as it was one where you put the fruit in a net and they mush it all up by sucking on it but I found that it just dripped juice everywhere and he just got in such a sticky mess every time - plus it was a nightmare to wash out! What is the one that Leola has and where did you get it from? I think ours was a Nuby

jadey1991 · 16/07/2022 13:26

@burtle4 oh I'm so sorry to hear about your dad hun. Sending you condolences to you and your family. I'm glad that Dexter got to meet his grandad. Josiah is now 30 weeks old. He is sitting up on his own, he is trying to crawl but not quite there. Josiah is restless due to this heat. Dread to think how he will be on Monday and Tuesdays

@Curlymam88 aww leola is beautiful hun. Aw happy belated birthday hun. Hope you enjoyed your day. Oh where did you get those from hun? I should try them on Josiah. We tried him on an ice lolly the other day and oh my goodness. He loved it cried whenever you took it away lol

OP posts:
Curlymam88 · 16/07/2022 15:17

Babi hapi these are. I've attached a Google search. It comes with 3 different size dummy teats to push the fruit into. I've never tried the net mesh type ones but I don't find these too messy really. Find them useful as they can go in the freezer and easy to wash out too.
@jadey1991 thank you 😊 I know, this heat is something else, leola hates in. Just constantly in just her nappy around tge house and at bed time.

jadey1991 · 16/07/2022 15:42

@Curlymam88 thanks for the pic hun... defo getting some... yes exactly the same as Josiah just a nappy on in the house and bedtime with the fan on ..... he goes out in just a vest too. He doesn't like wearing a hat🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

Curlymam88 · 16/07/2022 16:47

@jadey1991 no problem. I think ebay sell similar ones but cheaper too and amazon I think.

Hello! I've been a bit quiet as we've all had various bugs etc in our house.
Hope you're all well? Baby S has their first tooth. Timed it just right for this heatwave!!🤦🏼‍♀️
Hope you and the babies are managing okay in this heat.
Also any tips on how to get baby S to like bath time would be greatly appreciated. She used to love it, especially after we moved her into the big bath with a seat. However she now hates it. It's a rush just to get her bathed and dried.

jadey1991 · 19/07/2022 11:50

@JW2021 aww jack looks so cute.. yes Josiah has two teeth at the bottom he has dad them from about 4/5 months. I'm sure he is still teething.

Hope everyone is starting hydrated through this hot weather and the babies aren't so restless.
Josiah is soooo restless these past few nights. He has been sleeping in nothing but his nappy. It's currently 38.2c here in London.
