Hi ladies I thought I should start a new thread. Hope all is well

I can’t believe it’s hotter in the UK right now than Florida! Of course after 22 yrs I’m used to it - besides we all have AC - I know the nights can be brutal for your babies hang in there it will all be over in another month 🤷🏼Cool baths - plenty of water & icy cold fruits will help - love seeing all your pics BTW!

It has been crazy hot today! I live not too far from where the hottest temp was recorded. We haven’t left the house really, just stayed indoors and tried to stay as cool as possible but our bedroom is currently 33 degrees and I can’t get it any cooler so I’ll be up checking up on S throughout the night.

I feel like I've been frantically worrying about the heat. Checking the temperature on the bedrooms, do I open the windows and blinds do I keep them closed. Baby was crying last night because she was too hot. Checking the rabbit to make sure she's OK. Its been horrible.

@Curlymam88 oh hun believe me I know. Josiah hasn't slept properly for the last 2 nights. I didn't sleep at all last night because he was so u settled onto of being so hot and sweaty. Then worrying about my friend who sadly lost her flat to a fire due to the heat. They lost everything. All the kids stuff has gone.

@jadey1991 ah shit, so sorry to hear about your friends flat. I was thinking the other day the temperature on my car said 43 degrees. Surely that can't be good for the oil or petrol or whatever else, at ehat temperature would it be unsafe to drive a car due to the heat and fire etc...its been crazy

@Curlymam88 I know it's terrible. Yeah that sounds hot.. I don't even know about cars to tuff. But I don't think it would be wise to drive in that heat. I know that a few cars in London burst into flames yesterday because of the heat as well as 17 homes burnt down

@jadey1991 no way, its been crazy hasn't it.
Maybe the next thread that's made we should put December babies 2021 or something incase random people don't realise it's our thread from then.

@Curlymam88 I've set up a go fund me page to help out as the kids list everything... ok hun I will do... I can see someone posted something but go deleted.

@jadey1991 some people are just sad. It was a bit of a mickey take post. They've been blocked from mumsnet so that's good. I haven't read all the updates - will sit and properly look through everyone's craic later ☺️

Hey all! We've got 2 teeth here for baby S. not much news from us except that I'm 8 weeks pregnant 😂 baby S is 7 months next week. Hope you're all well.

Hi everyone, Leola will be 8 months in 3 days time and she still doesn't have teeth. @Theawkwardblonde congratulations. Were you trying for a baby in close age? I remember a few on here saying they were going to ttc but can't remember who.

@Curlymam88 thanks! Yes unfortunately we had an early miscarriage a few months ago but appear to have fallen straight away again. We wanted them close together but didn't expect to conceive quickly due to the issues we had conceiving baby S. Busy few years ahead for us 😂

How wonderful - your pregnant I’m soooo happy for you……you’re right you’ll have your hands full - but what the heck! Others Moms deal with twins don’t they! 🍼🤷🏼

@JW2021 aww look at him he looks so adorable.. Josiah has 3 teeth now. Two at bottom and 1 at the top... still no sign of him crawling her but her hun shuffles and moves back. He is now 8 months old

Congratulations @Theawkwardblonde , how exciting! And 8 weeks already means you're not far off being through the first trimester! How have you been feeling?
We've just got back from going to my brother's wedding in France, Dexter was an absolute superstar from beginning to end and took the whole trip in his stride - he's now been on a plane 6 times in 7 months 😂. It was so hot over there, up to 40° on some of the days and he didn't complain about it at all. Attached a photo of him suited and booted on the wedding day and a trip out for lunch where he decided to grab all the salad off my plate 😂
