@Curlymam88 thank you my lovely.
Josiah eats everything to be honest there isn't anything specific he likes. You can put anything in front of him and he will eat it. Although I must say he does love he fruit.
Does anyones baby like drinking water? Josiah loves it.

Hi everyone
Hope you all good
Jesse will eat almost anything
But
He is not very good with finger foods
So for lunch
He is having a lot of soup !
Any soup he loves
I need some ideas

Curlymam88 · 05/09/2022 16:41

@jadey1991 leola will drink her water then after a while she'll just hold it in her mouth then spit it out like a fish lol.
I was giving leola age 7+ baby jars of food but its starting to get expensive now.
I did an online asda shop today and got some different bits to try.
Frozen mince, bolognaise sauce, spaggetti
Fishcakes, Waffles
Frozen veg,
Beans
Spaghetti hoops
Ravioli
Scrambled eggs,
Fish dippers, sweet potato
They also had carrot Waffles.
With autumn coming we'll be having alot of stew soon too.
That's all the ideas for meals I came up with but feel I'm missing something simple.

Hello everyone! Been a bit MIA so just been reading through updates.
I've been back at work, so very busy. Couple that with my borderline hyperemesis and it's been just great 😂
Baby S is doing fine although they're quite poorly this week with a chest infection. We've had our scan for no 2 and touch wood all okay.

Curlymam88 · 06/09/2022 15:56

@Theawkwardblonde I'm glad everything is going good with your pregnancy and sorry to hear S isn't well. Hope she's better soon.

lovebeingmum9 · 07/09/2022 19:35

Hi all, I feel a bit of a lazy weener as Oscars still mainly on jars or sachets of baby food that I Spoon feed him.....obviously we have quite a busy schedule at the moment and he's super messy when he feeds himself hence why I find it easier to feed him! But he loves his biscotti, organic crisps, farleys rusks and (banana but he hates touching it so again I feed it to him) lol Just now I put him down to sleep in his travel cot in our living room (we carry him upto bed/cot when we go upto bed) and he was stirring and trying to watch TV and pulled himself up and stood there watching the TV! Wonder whether he might walk soon because he has warriors legs 🤣 @jadey1991 aw good luck with the baby group hopefully you get a good turn out! @theawkwardblonde glad your scan went well, hope little s feels better soon....was only the other day I was thinking we all havnt had many illnesses recently but now kids have gone back to school I dare say that's about to change! 🤒 Thinking a bit ahead here, but has anyone started 1st birthday plans or Christmas shopping yet? I've bought cocomelon birthday Decorations as that's Oscars favourite and planning on taking him and siblings to a soft play etc and I'm putting bits away for ours for Christmas as and when I see offers etc x

lovebeingmum9 · 07/09/2022 19:39

@curlymam I completely understand the changing of seasons gives me mixed feelings too! I feel sad that another year is soon to be over but then I also love the change and can't wait for hot meals, hot chocolate and snuggling under blankets (toasted marshmallows too 😋) x

xTinkerbell · 07/09/2022 21:59

Sorry been a bit AWOL for ages so here’s a little update.

Here’s Aria just a few days ago. She’s teeny, 11th centile for height and 2nd for weight. So different from her brother who was 85th for both. Currently combi feeding and doing BLW and she eats EVERYTHING. Hope you’re all well

2020mission · 07/09/2022 22:38

I'm so bad at keeping up here too! House hunting, new job prep and baby leaves little time. I'll try and pop in more often to see how everyone is doing.

@xTinkerbell aww love her wee outfit and I see she's got teeth too 🥰 Matthew is small as well. I'm not sure about height but he's about 9th percentile for weight. He's still mostly breast fed with the odd formula bottle and he's eating well enough. He's not taken to BLW he just throws it away on the floor (despite happily putting anything else to his mouth!) so it's all spoon feeding really but he's happy to eat that way right now.

@Theawkwardblonde great to hear it's all going well so far with your pregnancy. Are you showing quicker this time? I heard that happens after you've had one 😅

Is anyone's LO crawling yet? Matthew can use his arms to scoot backwards when on his front now so I often find him across the floor but no proper crawling so far.

2020mission · 07/09/2022 22:50

I've read back some more and see a few of your babies are crawling already! They are growing up too quickly

Theawkwardblonde · 08/09/2022 08:31

I'm not showing yet. I've actually lost a stone since finding out I was pregnant. I was at my pre baby S weight when we conceived so to have lost another stone has shocked me (I blame the sickness). I think had I not lost anything I'd have a bit of a bump/bloat but nothing yet. I'm adamant I can feel flutters but don't know if it's my imagination.
S isn't crawling properly yet. She can as she does it in her cot, but she much prefers to roll everywhere 😂😂

Curlymam88 · 08/09/2022 09:51

@lovebeingmum9 don't talk about illnesses....my eldest daughter has had 24hr sickness bug and passed it onto me and now leola was up last night. Sick in her cot sick on the school run this morning too. Dont know when I should start panicking as shes not keeping much milk down.

lovebeingmum9 · 08/09/2022 17:58

@Curlymam88 oh no that's awful! I'm honestly dreading mine getting all the winter bugs, usually happen over Christmas for us croup etc so I would be thankful if it was before or after! Hopefully your lil ones get over it quickly and all your immune systems are made sky high X Hubby and I have had so much on recently that we were totally unprepared for autumn and winter weather and had to rush out to get kids top ups clothing wise! little oscar is going into 12-18month clothing,he's short but stocky and crawling everywhere! 😅 The other day we had electricians in and it was a bit of a nightmare.....I had to take oscar and our 2yr old upstairs because it was too noisy for them, our 15 and a half Yr old dog was shut in the kitchen (as they had front door open for access/tools) and our other 3 kids came home from school and were helping dad do fencing outside,no electric and couldn't access kitchen so on a better note we all had a takeaway 🙃

lovebeingmum9 · 08/09/2022 18:06

Forgot to say Oscars 1st haircut went well.....can see from before pic how long it was! 💙

Been an absolute shit (and sick) storm here since Thursday. Baby was bringing up all her feeds so phone doctors for advice and they said to take her in to see doctor and to get a urine sample from her. Easier said than done. Sat in the doctors covered in pee and sleep deprived from the night before. Doctor checked her over and apparently there were electrolytes in her wee and she had a red throat so doctor prescribed her antibiotics...which then caused the massive poo storm. So I've stopped the antibiotics now and she seems more herself. I don't think she needed the antibiotics myself looking back. I think her throat was red from being sick and I've read electrolytes can be in urine from being sick so who knows. I believe it should have been only a 24hour bug like me and my daughter had but the antibiotics made it all worse. But im.not a doctor just going by my instincts.

lovebeingmum9 · 12/09/2022 15:01

Aw thanks @jadey1991 hope youve been well?
@Curlymam88 Oh no what a nightmare that must have been! You feel abliged to go with the doctors advice but they don't get it right everytime, mum's instincts are sometimes most accurate as nobody knows your baby like you do! Glad she's better now though bless her ❤ we went to our nieces party on the weekend all 7 of us in the car an hour and half travel and our eldest son gets travelsickness but didn't have enough time to tell us.....sick all in back of the car (in-between seats) 😩 poor hubby trying to clean it with babywipes and perfume......it could have been so much worse though as I imagined it could have been a chain effect where we all could have taken it in turns sicking in the car 🤢😅

Curlymam88 · 12/09/2022 16:09

Thanks @lovebeingmum9 I'm like that when it comes to sick, having to clean up both of my girls always end up gagging. At least you know for your next long journey. Bless him. And in regards to what you asked earlier I've started shopping for both girls birthdays and Xmas in December. Not got alot but I've made a start at least.

jadey1991 · 12/09/2022 18:13

@Curlymam88 oh no hun this sounds terrible... how is leola now? Is she feeling better? I personally don't believe doctors should give babies antibiotics so early unless is special circumstances. Try leola on some honey and lemon (fresh)

OP posts:
Curlymam88 · 12/09/2022 20:46

Thing is I had the bug and my eldest had the bug so I was pretty sure baby had it too it was a 24hr bug but I think that's been and gone and shes been ill off the antibiotics so I believe. She seems less pooey today anyway 😄thanks.
How did your baby class go? @jadey1991

jadey1991 · 13/09/2022 00:16

@Curlymam88 oh dear, I'm glad leola is feeling much better now. I start my baby class tomorrow. Can't wait but slightly nervous xx

@jadey1991 the last few weeks have been a blur and just merged into one sorry. I thought it was last week. I'm sure it'll be great, enjoy yourself and have fun 😊 good luck

jadey1991 · 13/09/2022 18:36

@Curlymam88 it's ok hun. No need to apologise...
done baby group today. It was useless. No1 turned up... I felt so embarrassed.

OP posts:
Curlymam88 · 14/09/2022 09:30

@jadey1991 no one at all?? I'm sorry to hear that. Did you get to advertise the group anywhere? I remember you saying you weren't on social media (same as me)

Theawkwardblonde · 15/09/2022 10:36

@jadey1991 sorry to hear no one showed. Don't feel embarrassed though. These things are sometimes hard to start. Good on you for doing it!

I'm 14 weeks..bump has popped this week. Quite literally overnight 😂😂
