Embarrassing toddler mispronunciations

My 3.5 year old DS loves playing with fake gold coins as part of some fun pirate treasure island games. The problem is that he inexplicably pronounces 'coins' as 'C U Next TuesdayS'! Aargh! Our horror was duly noted and he now finds it hilarious to yell his version of the word despite constant corrections. Does anyone else have this kind of problem or are we alone on this frustrating road of judgment and social ruin?

My son, now aged 7, used to pronounce clock as COCK! He would always get so excited pointing at the clock on the wall.

Oh god one of mine used to do that too!!

My youngest granddaughter refers to sweeties as titties. When we,are out at the supermarket she shouts 'titties Nana' haha.

My son used to get very excited, and point loudly at, 'rape!' (AKA shape) 🙈

My son mistakes the word flag for slag and will point out any slags we see while we are out walking anywhere.

When DS was little, we were walking in the park picking up sticks. An old man was walking towards us and DS said 'look, I have a little dick and mummy has a big dick'
He is now 8 and finds this story hilarious
He also used to call Paw Patrol, Whore Patrol

DS couldn't pronounce his Y2 teacher's name - "Mr Hopkirk" became "Mr Hotcock". I was always worried he thought I'd given him a nickname that DS overheard

The other was a Thomas fanatic "Look Mummy, it's the Fuckin troller" a.k.a the Fat Controller!
