Hello,

To women with breastfeeding experience and stopped when you or dc were truly ready, did you celebrate or mark the occasion in some way when it came to an end? If so how? If no, why not?

Out of curiosity, would love to hear your views/experiences.

@Elemzee thats really lovely and I would suggest a nice bottle of champagne and for him to do the night shift so you can drink it all, thats what I will want if my DDs ever stop!

I got drunk with DH on the day I stopped DC2 and we celebrated a bit erm, recklessly. Got pg with dc3. Not quite the reclamation of my body that I’d planned Blush

Well clearly I have a lot to learn about managing a discussion on here, tricky for me to keep popping back as I'm bogged down with work, kids and home schooling. But it seems like a fun place to hang out so i'll be sticking around!

It happens gradually. You reduce the feeds a bit at a time until you forget about it. Don't go cold turkey
