How often do you bath your 2 year old? What's the norm for this age?

Mine is bathed every night - it’s part of his bedtime routine. If I dare not to bath him he loudly demands one.

olderthanyouthink · 02/12/2020 16:59

She showers with me most mornings and has a bath in the afternoon/evening when she feels like it or needs occupying (maybe once a week). Been this way for ages and she just 2.

Ours had eczema/we were lazy and were more like a 2-3 times a week.

Every evening before bed as part of our routine.

Rhubarblin · 02/12/2020 17:00

Every night here too.

suziedoozy · 02/12/2020 17:01

Every evening before bed - like others it’s part of the bedtime routine

Smile3 · 02/12/2020 17:02

If its not a bath it's a quick shower.

Smile3 · 02/12/2020 17:03

Sorry I forgot to say every day!

ArmchairCritics · 02/12/2020 17:04

2-3 times a week as well - she just didn’t need it that often at that age. Washed when she was dirty basically. Now have 4 and 1 year old and they are bathed every second night - she’s needed washed more as she got older.

Newpuppymummy · 02/12/2020 17:04

Every night. She is always filthy

icedaisy · 02/12/2020 17:05

Every night after tea, absolute filthy little monkey she is.

Ihaveoflate · 02/12/2020 23:05

Mine is only 17 months and we bath her twice a week. Her hair needs washing, otherwise I would only bath once. We use cloth wipes so she gets properly topped and tailed daily.

GiveMeAllTheGin8 · 02/12/2020 23:10

My first was bathed every night as part of bedtime routine until she was 4. My second is two and is showered 3 times a week .
They don’t need bathing every day!

DotBall · 02/12/2020 23:13

Twice a week, unless he was particularly grubby.

Parker231 · 02/12/2020 23:13

By the time they were two, they were having showers instead of baths. Much quicker each evening.

Pebbledashery · 02/12/2020 23:17

Showers every other night. Do a wet wipe wash on the nights she doesn't have her shower. Sainsburys wet wipes. They are brilliant. Very refreshing and moisturising.

HeeeeyDuggee · 02/12/2020 23:19

Every other night unless we’ve done some kind of activity that means they got really mucky

We never used baths in our bedtime routine but lots of friends do

YourStarlessEyes · 02/12/2020 23:20

About twice a week, unless absolutely stinking and wiped over before PJ's on the nights they've not had a shower/bath.

turtletum · 02/12/2020 23:23

Daily. But then he's the messiest, dirtiest child.

Sherin18 · 02/12/2020 23:25

Every night as part of her bedtime routine

MooChops89 · 02/12/2020 23:26

Every 2-3 days unless she's particularly dirty. We never had a bedtime routine

AquarianSquirrel · 02/12/2020 23:27

2-3 times a week. It can be healthier and promote natural oils despite the naysayers Wink

WishingHopingThinkingPraying · 02/12/2020 23:35

Twice a week. He's grand. A little stinky at times.....

jessstan1 · 02/12/2020 23:41

I used to bathe mine every day at that age, we used to bathe together.

MillyA · 02/12/2020 23:42

Twice a week
