I'm 41 and dd2 is 10, which seems about average amongst her friends mums.
When dd2 was 10 I was 30 and I was the youngest of her friends mums.

Arriettyborrower · 07/06/2020 23:18

46 but he is my youngest

Shmithecat2 · 07/06/2020 23:19

ToothFairyNemesis · 07/06/2020 23:20

  1. She isn’t my oldest but not my youngest either.
namechangenumber2 · 07/06/2020 23:30

DS2 is just 11 and I'm 39. I'm fairly average compared to his friends parents. Most are 36-40, a couple are closer to 50 ( second marriages)

DS1 was born when I'd just turned 22 and I was very much a young mum when he was 10.

Joiningthegossip · 07/06/2020 23:31

I will be 34 when DD turns 10

DamnYankee · 07/06/2020 23:31

Married at 30.
DS was born when I was 33 and a bit..
I gave birth to my DD on my 38th birthday. She is 11 now.

Thinking back to my friends' mothers....most were mid-twenties when their children were born.

Nitpickpicnic · 07/06/2020 23:34

48 here too. I’d say 90% of other class mums are significantly younger, mostly mid 30’s. Some outliers at the older end, with ‘happy accident’ babies!

MajesticWhine · 07/06/2020 23:37

My youngest is 10; I'm 48

poppym12 · 07/06/2020 23:39

40

Thinkpinkstink · 07/06/2020 23:40

I'll be 46 when DD is 10. Somehow me being 46 seems less far away, than her turning 10!

Youneverknowwhatyourgonnaget · 07/06/2020 23:40

I’m 34 and my youngest is 10 and my eldest is 13. I was young but it worked out for the best me and my children’s dad is still together and very happy couldnt wish for anything more!! I see benefits of having children young and older so each to their own👌

CanIDigIt · 07/06/2020 23:41
