When did your LO walk?

Sorry if this has been done to death.

My daughter is 14 months old and, it appears, no where near walking. She can pull herself up, can stand unaided for about 5 seconds, and crawls very well, however she has no interest at all in taking any 'steps'. She doesn't cruise around the furniture, and if she pulls herself up on something just stays there and kind of bobs up and down. She'll walk a few steps aided but then loses all interest and sits down on her bum.

I'm not exactly worried, but I am finding it a bit weird that so many of my mum friends have walking babies but mine is not interested, and to be honest she's an absolutely lump and I'm sick of carrying her around!

Ds was 20 months. No developmental issues. Benefit was that he was very steady on his feet very quickly so we didn't go through a long 'falling over' phase. By 24 months he decided he didn't like his buggy and never went in it again- he walked everywhere!

At 14 months DD1 had been walking for 6 months. At the same age dd2 could crawl but she would not even put her feet on the ground let alone try to walk. If you tried to hold her to stand she'd curl her feet up to her bottom. She went from this to running over uneven surfaces like she'd been on her feet forever at 17 months in the space of a couple of days. Definitely too soon to worry

My DD is 18.5 months and still isnt walking. She cruises furniture, climbs, walks when I hold her hand (pretty wobbly) but doesnt take any steps alone. I am starting to get worried I have to say, but people keep telling me she will do it in her own time. Some kids seem to just want to take their time.

Eldest around 19 months.
Youngest 12 months.

My LO was 14 months. She didn’t crawl until 10 months and didn’t really cruise or pull herself up at all, but as soon as she took her first wobbly steps there was no stopping her and now that she’s 17 months old she’s running around everywhere.

Cruising at 10 months, walking at 12 months. Never crawled or bum shuffled though, and was very cross about being stuck sitting still since 5 months though so had to do something.

Friends’ babies who were competent crawlers tended to be more relaxed about wanting to walk.

My DD was 17 months when she started walking, although she was an avid talker. My Ds was around 14 months.
