I have just bought 5 "natural daylight" biobulbs from a site called Ecozone. they are supposed to make you feel it is daylight even in the depths of murky winter. I think winter has arrived early this year, it feels very dark in our house.

hi yorkiegirl, are there any more babies to admire on your website now?

Oh its' nice that you are all online. It's been quiet lately

Fennel · 26/09/2004 20:18

so how are you doing Mrs D? did you have a nice weekend?

hewlettsdaughter · 26/09/2004 20:19

I'm here! Just logged on.

MrsDoolittle · 26/09/2004 20:24

Lovely lazy weekend. I am really enjoying dd. She is soo funny

hewlettsdaughter · 26/09/2004 20:26

What has she been up to MrsD?

MrsDoolittle · 26/09/2004 20:29

We all lay in bed til late. Dd has been in a great mood this weekend chirping and babbling away. She is not sitting up yet but I think she will be soon, she keeps throwing herself backwards and forwards in my arms. I am afraid I will drop her when she starts that.
I was eating a sandwich today while holding her my arms and she kept trying to grab it with her hands, at the same time she had her moyth wide open.
Oh and I've sussed the sore bottom treatment....

hewlettsdaughter · 26/09/2004 20:30

Go on...

MrsDoolittle · 26/09/2004 20:30

Come on then....ask

Fennel · 26/09/2004 20:31

well? we're all agog with wondering....

MrsDoolittle · 26/09/2004 20:31

Camomile tea!!! No word of a lie!

MrsDoolittle · 26/09/2004 20:31

Magic!!

MrsDoolittle · 26/09/2004 20:32

Oh and I have been deep into Annabels Karmels book today cooking up tasty grub for the little fledgling

Fennel · 26/09/2004 20:35

MrsDoolittle · 26/09/2004 20:35

Have I killed this thread tonight then?
Gladiator is not on until 9!

MrsDoolittle · 26/09/2004 20:37

As a bottom wash when changing dd's nappy - works wonders. Do you think the nursery nurse is going to think I'm a wierdo hippy mummy when I tell her?

hewlettsdaughter · 26/09/2004 20:38

Excellent - how did you find out about that?

MrsDoolittle · 26/09/2004 20:40

Nappy advisor - I thought she was a wierdo hippy mummy

Lowryn · 26/09/2004 20:41

Wow top tip, mrsD. DS has a horrific nappy rash at the moment. I feel so guilty poor chap.
I will buy some camomile tea tomorrow!
I am having a rare old time with his weaning. He doesn't seem to want baby mush. He tends to pull grimaces and spit it out with an "Urk"
He will happily eat a rusk, or grab food out of your hands though.
He gave us all the evil eye tonight as we tucked into a steak and ale pie!

hewlettsdaughter · 26/09/2004 20:41

If it works I wouldn't worry about being labelled

Fennel · 26/09/2004 20:42

nothing wrong with being a weirdo hippy mummy

MrsDoolittle · 26/09/2004 20:43

Sensible words indeed HD!
Lowryn how old is ds now?
