Wouldn't we all be a nightmare on a rare ladies only night out?!

Egypt, OJ has the same effect on DS. I guess we'll have to drink our vodkas with lemonade from now on!

My DP good looking? He can be when he makes the effort! I wouldn't mind him getting his hair cut a little bit though! or at least some kind of style to it DP's brother said "no offence but DS will be thinking that daddy is mummy and mummy is daddy soon"

We are okay really, it is just he does wind me up sometimes. For example, the rewiring being done was arranged by me, the shower being fitted was arranged by me and it is all being paid for on my credit card (we have the costs coming back soon though so I am not worried about that) but it is just his whole attitude to it all - it is his blooming house and it has improved considerably since I moved in because I have sorted everything out. Like I sort everything out! I paid for his car tax yesterday too and all he does is sit on his big fat bum - grrr! Even the washing up each night is too much effort. He will have a shock when I go back to work. He has only lived in this house his whole blooming life - you'd think some work might've done to it. He needs a rocket up his bottom I think.

Sorry, don't know where that rant came from . I think I need therapy! sorry guys I will give DP a cuddle when he gets home. (it doesn't help that the neighbour's DP is currently washing their windows and I bet she didn't have to tell him to do it either because he is just like that!)

Deep breaths libb, think happy calm thoughts . . . . okay, no more ranting today.

My e-mail is lizcorke at hotmail.com

Think what you're doing in the house sounds amazing Libb. Your DP, eye candy or no, obviously doesn't know he's born. I can hardly get the washing up done myself, let alone get a whole house rewired etc. Pat on back and much sympathy, because what you and Egypt are describing is undoubtedly a part of the whole Man thing.

Shall mail you my email address, would love to see ds in action. Or do you still have it after my CAT'ing before?

libb · 01/10/2004 12:41

I thought I had it I can't find it - would you mind mailing me? I hope it works!

Egypt LOL daft girl...

hello catters, also been wondering how you're doing.

cat82 · 01/10/2004 17:11

hi Egypt

DD is fine- gorgeous. smiling and cooing, but not rolling at all or giggling very much. She's still little, weighing in at a waif like 11-12lbs, but lovely.
DP, is lovely, other than suggesting we call our puppy Jockstrap (!) when we get her (see dog name suggestions needed thread )
DD, has (whispers) been sleeping 12 hours a night since she was 2 months old without a murmer.

How are things with you hon?

cat82 · 01/10/2004 17:14

Judd · 01/10/2004 17:25

Just incase you don't see it, there is a thread from an absent marmite-flavoured friend headed "Thanks for everything" if you want to post her a message

spots · 01/10/2004 17:39

cheers Judd

libb · 01/10/2004 18:22

ooo goody. will check it out.

2 months and 12 hours - oh my gord. that's brill. well done.

well god knows what was wrong with dd tonight. she wouldnt go to sleep, wouldnt feed. her last feed was 4.30pm. everytime i put her down she screamed. ended up swinging her in her car seat and she went off. 1 1/2 hours later than usual. my bloody back is killing me.

still in her car seat......do i risk moving her. dont want her sleeping long in it. but then again....

Egypt · 01/10/2004 21:25

did you get my cat libb?

Judd · 01/10/2004 21:53

Cat82 - nice to hear from you again! Just checking messages inbetween instalments of Frost and glugs of wine (and flashing boobs at DH who is on phone to his mother). Hectic life I lead!
DS is cuter and heavier by the minute. Must go to the HV on Monday and have him weighed and steel myself for inevitable gasps at his size.
DD, whose speech is quite delayed for nearly 3, came out with a corker of a sentence today "Me no like baby Ollie". Didn't know whether to laugh or cry........ coupled with high pitched manic laugh

cat82 · 01/10/2004 22:04

Egypt-she could be teething? pain can put them off their food a bit. Calgel and Theetha granuals are meant to be good. you can get the granuals from health food shoos i think'

Judd-how heavy (roughly) is ds? and how heavy was he when he was born?
