How much "time off" from your children do you get?

How much "time off" from your children do you get in a week? I have a six month old and I'm with her pretty relentlessly unless I'm staying with my parents who will then watch her for a couple of hours here and there. DH is supportive but works full time so in a week I'd say he might take her out by himself for an hour, then on a week where I'm seeing my parents my mum might have her for two hours and the rest of the time I'm with her. I love spending time with her but find it so so relentless and very tiring.

Would be interested to know what time off other people have and how they manage and feel about it. I will go back to work but not until she's one.

At 6 months old i got none, maybe a handful of evenings where I went out and she was alone with DH for a few hours.
I think its pretty normal- seems relentless at the time but the time goes in the blink of an eye and Id do anything to have that time back.

I was actually ill (D&V Bug) when my DD was 6 months old and my husband was on a boys-trip. My sister thankfully came and took her off my hands for a few hours but otherwise she was either bf or in the bouncer next to me whilst I lay there dying.

I don't have anytime away from my Son (he's now 23months ) I have left him once to nip out for a friends birthday night out, I lasted 2 hours out and then was back home.

He comes everywhere with me, when my Hubby comes home from work he will take him in the garden, if the weathers nice, for an hour so I can relax or in the afternoon when he has a little snooze I get some time, but still have to keep an eye on him, obviously.

Yeah it's full on and relentless, best job in the world though 😍😍😍
