What's the sweetest thing your DC has done today?

Ds (4) came up to me in the garden. He stood there and said, 'I'm your husband'. (I don't have a partner)

I said, 'Oh, lovely', and he stood there proudly with hands on hips, tummy stuck out, and in this funny deep little voice, he said, 'Well, now, Dear. What would you like for breakfast?'

I couldn't help laughing but did calm down and asked for fried eggs on toast, which he duly made me from leaves and daisies.

'I'm a great husband aren't I mummy?'
'Perfect, love. Perfect.'

dd1 cried hysterically because she had hit dd3 with the swing

despite being told many times that it wasnt her fault she then drew a picture and a letter which I have here(she spells like Cod ):

mine made me a smiley face (aged just 4) to 'cheer me up because you've lost your keys' I wasn't even that grumpy!!!!

dd (14 mths) has discovered kissing in a big way, and her & ds had a good five minutes worth of hugging and kissing each other, and giggling like loons

My dd2 said out of the blue, 'when I'm a mummy, I want to be a really good one like you'! Bless, I hadn't even given her pocket money or anything!

my DS gave me the biggest, silliest grin ever when i picked him up from nursery - then lots of licky kisses (he is one)

Repeatedly saying, "I luff you mummy and I luff my daddy too", entirely unprompted from me.

DS1 said 'If I go in an airplane can I see my nanny (grandmother)in heaven?'

and DS2 (2y5m) said that DS1 is his best friend aww

Only filled her nappy 27 times, vomitted on just three of my freshly laundered tops and cried at 3 decibels lower than her usual ear-splitting efforts.

Aah, my 3wk old dd is just the sweetest thing.

Mine repeated a sound for the first time today. Dp was doing 'haha' like Nelson from The Simpsons and ds was repeating it back to him.

DS1 (4) and DS2 (2) were playing with their train track when DS1 turned to DS2 and said: "I really love you DS2."
DS2 squealed with delight and they had a big hug.
(they didn't know I was watching them from the doorway).

Ds3 (3) gave one of his big brothers a Yeo Valley yogurt pouch thingy. Not a big deal, but ds3 LOVES these, so quite a big sacrifice. Oh, and he'd "opened" it for him already by slobbering and biting all over the tear off part.

dd, who'd been tormenting ds3 most of the sfternoon, read him 2 bedtime stories and had him tucked up in bed almost before I'd time to say, umm, time for bed..

both giggling jumping on the bed ds laughs and says to dd "see dd i told you we'd make mummy smile"

DD1 was upset because her best friend had told her she didn't like her anymore and didn't want to be friends - she was crying her eyes out - DD2 (only 2 yrs) wandered over, put her arms around DD1 and gave her a massive cuddle and kiss.

gave me the biggest smile ever when i picked him up from nursery (he's 9 months)

DD came bounding up the stairs to me this evening, hugged me and beamed a massive grin, telling me she had managed to cycle a little bit all on her own. Bless her - DH syas he managed to let go for about 2-3 seconds before she lost her balance! But it was the first time, so she was overjoyed!

My 2 year old dd repeatedly said:
'I love you Daddy, I love you Mummy' on the drive home, and gave me a lovey hug and a big soggy kiss at bedtime.

Lovely to hear you all have such cute lo's. The nicest thing my dd (11) did today, was go to Guides for 2 hours and leave me in peace!

OK, she's redeemed herself! She came in from Guides and made herself a cup of tea and one for me & dh too, without asking!

I was feeling exhausted and lay down on the sofa for a few mins. DS(2 yrs) came up and said 'ooooh mummy, kiss kiss' and gave me a huge smile, big kiss on the cheek and a cuddle...then proceeded to get all his books off the shelf for me to read to him!

I asked DS (4) today what he would buy if he won the lottery. He said "a cloud, Mummy"...bless

When Grandma broke his football goal by stepping on it ds (4) said "Oh never mind, it is fine Grandma, it doesn't matter"

His face when we got stuck on a tour bus when he needed the loo, and he had to wee in a bottle, was also a picture
