My 7 year old just said his FIRST WORD and proved professionals wrong!:D

Sorry I am single full time daddy and I need to share the news with someone! :D

My son is 7 years old and has Autism and global development delay, from day one I have always been told by " professionals" that he would never be able to talk and he will never say " daddy" or " I love you".

I was changing my little mans Nappy a Minute ago when suddenly I heard a little voice go " Dada" ... It was MY SON! :D :D ( I admit it I cried like a little baby!)

I am so so happy, so so proud and so excited for the future... I just want to shout it from the roof tops! :D

I knew one day he would prove everyone wrong and today he did!! :D

Haven't heard him say it since but I know it will only be time until he won't stop talking! Lol

He may not be able to use his voice to communicate but he does make it clear what he wants and defiantly has a sense of humour.. Aslong as he is happy I am happy :)
