Sorry I am single full time daddy and I need to share the news with someone! :D

My son is 7 years old and has Autism and global development delay, from day one I have always been told by " professionals" that he would never be able to talk and he will never say " daddy" or " I love you".

I was changing my little mans Nappy a Minute ago when suddenly I heard a little voice go " Dada" ... It was MY SON! :D :D ( I admit it I cried like a little baby!)

I am so so happy, so so proud and so excited for the future... I just want to shout it from the roof tops! :D

I knew one day he would prove everyone wrong and today he did!! :D

elephantoverthehill · 24/03/2016 22:45

Congratulations. What a heart warming moment. I think I am right but others may disagree that Einsteen did not speak until the age of 7. When asked why he replied that he didn't have anything interesting to say. Get on the roof and shout!

Ahh, that's fantastic. My DD has epilepsy causing a brain injury and GDD and every little thing she achieves is precious. How wonderful that his first word was your name.
