Did the baby eat the mother?

Love the idea that a 23yo could be a barrister

That is not only possible but pretty much the average age for qualifying for anyone who studies Law at university.

LLB aged 18-21
Bar Professional training course aged 22
Called to the Bar, and pupillage aged 23.

Even if you do another subject first, and need a year to do the GDL, you'd still qualify at 24.

ElviraCondomine · 18/06/2015 20:59

So I for one was totally convinced by the entire story.... Grin

Luxme · 20/06/2015 20:16

Gosh I thought my DD was big, she's 2 foot 5 and in age 18-24 months clothes but daddy is 6"6. I would take her to the HV but I doubt its down to your feeding at this stage.

Nt85 · 09/05/2016 18:20

My 6 month old girl is 2 stone and she is a very healthy happy baby not even that chubby to look at her. Why were people being so mean to this lady. Know it's a bit late just want to say this is totally normal uncommon perhaps but not an issue at all

SpeakNoWords · 09/05/2016 18:40

A 6 month old weighing 2 stone (28 lbs or about 12.7kgs) is way way way off the top of the growth charts. I would imagine that a HV or GP would be extremely concerned about a baby that weighed that much.

Have you had your baby weighed by the HV/GP?

everdene · 09/05/2016 18:44

Totally cackling at the 'take off her cast iron dungarees before you weigh her' - this thread has made my day!

NotTooSureSal · 09/05/2016 18:50

Zombie!!!

The baby is now 18 months old and 14 stone

SpeakNoWords · 09/05/2016 18:55

I know, I just couldn't resist pointing out the obvious to Nt85...

I'm not sure the most recent (if real) poster understands what a stone is in weight?.

A 28lb six month old baby would definitely look 'chubby to look at'. And would definitely cause some serious concern to a parent carrying them round all the time!.

squizita · 10/05/2016 12:01

Nt85 I am a grown adult and weigh 7 stone. Does your baby weigh almost a THIRD of what I do? Really? Grin

Sparkio · 05/09/2018 00:07

Wow, I’m suprised at the lack of support and mean words from other mothers!! Calling someone’s child a monster based on weight is disgusting.

Sparkio · 05/09/2018 00:11

I’d also like to add that my daughter weighs a lot and is being weighed regularly and neither my HV or GP are concerned. For those that are actually seeking support with this see you HV and GP and not on here evidently as some women are ignorant b**ea at times!
