Well DS who weighs pretty much the same is 112 cm - I am guessing she isn't anywhere near to being that tall!!

But you are a human. With eyes.

And money that is being spent on clothes 3 years older than what she needs.

Kraggle · 15/06/2015 21:24

How did you weigh her on the scales? Did you stand on them first to get your weight then stand on them holding her?

My 2 yo weighs 2 stone and is in 2-3 clothing, there can't be any way your 7 month old is as big as that.

Sirzy · 15/06/2015 21:25

Well according to your figures she weighs too much for the car seat!

JinglyJanglyJungleBigGameTours · 15/06/2015 21:25

What size of clothes is she wearing? If she really did gain that much weight in a short time surely you'd have noticed when you had to buy her new clothes?

CultureSucksDownWords · 15/06/2015 21:26

Take her to the GPs tomorrow (or as soon as they can see you) and insist they weigh her properly. Then the GP can advise you properly. There's no other advice to give really.

JinglyJanglyJungleBigGameTours · 15/06/2015 21:26

Sorry, I just seen you said in your OP 2-3 years. Better make a Dr appointment to be sure and get a proper weigh in...

Gdydgkyk · 15/06/2015 21:27

My 6 year old weighs close to that. Other end of the scale and generally on the 0.4 line of the percentile chart. My DC is completely healthy and it's likely yours is too but best to check with GP

Raveismyera · 15/06/2015 21:28

A 7 month old wearing 2-3 year old clothes and your doctor didn't mention anything before?
And I didnt notice / see a problem?

May I ask, seriously, what is your babies normal intake of food, milk, fluids a day?

lougle · 15/06/2015 21:30

If you pop her height down, we can see what her bmi centile is.

shitebag · 15/06/2015 21:30

Can I suggest that you look into an extended rear facing seat that accommodates a child up to 25kg as the seat she's in is only suitable up to 18kg as are most harnessed seats and as she's already 15.5kg then she'll have outgrown it by about 18 months at a push.

Forward facing at 7 months is really not safe, especially if she has such heavy weight on her small, soft bones.

ImperialBlether · 15/06/2015 21:31

How are you weighing her?

Try standing on the scale and measuring yourself, then hold her on the scale too and work out the difference.

If you're holding her on the scales, you'll get wrong results.

Also most scales are inaccurate - I know on mine I can weigh myself twice within five minutes and get different results, but your results are so high that it seems there's some other reason than dodgy scales.

Koalafications · 15/06/2015 21:32
Hmm
Lozobham23 · 15/06/2015 21:32

I have got a forward rear car seat it's a maxi axiss up to 4 years old

OP posts:
shitebag · 15/06/2015 21:35

Its up to 18kg which is the average 4 year old.

Your daughter is clearly not average sized and will outgrow it within months if your measurements are accurate.

foreverton · 15/06/2015 21:35

My dd is 4 yrs 4 months, tall for her age and weighs 3 stone 5, I have been worried about her weight, reducing snacks and increasing exercise.

Surely your scales are wrong, really sorry to be blunt but that doesn't sound right at all, it sounds completely off the scale for a 7 month old, pls double check this.
Saying that, her clothes size of 2-3 does reflect what you're saying, most dc at that age are roughly in the 3-6/6-9 month sizing depending on size.

shitebag · 15/06/2015 21:36

She's also most probably too heavy for her push chair.

Lozobham23 · 15/06/2015 21:37

I'm a barrister I'm actually a good mother with a good back ground education,i really can't believe you would think I would post this if I really over fed my child, that is completely wrong
