3yo DS and I were baking muffins on Sunday, he called flour 'pastry powder' Grin

I don't imagine that one'll stick once he knows the real word, but DH calls quiche 'egg cake', and friends of ours all call raspberry jam 'pink jam' since the kids named it years ago.

Any more?

DD1 started calling certain branded smoothies Lovely Juice at the age of 2. Eight years on that's still what we call it. And broccoli is called Graham!

My older cousin apparent called her calves 'cow muscles', which is a term that has stuck in our family for 25 years. I also told my auntie that she had 'hair like lobsters', though I have no idea what on earth that could mean. She still brings it up though, I think she was offended Grin

My two yr old said she wanted "to soft the dog", instead of stroke or pat or whatever, while at the park.

When asked if she'd had a bath I was trying to get her to say it in the northern way, DH was trying to encourage her to say it the southern way, Ba-r-th. She looked back and forth at us before saying "shower".

Ah I love these! Such a great insight into how their little minds work.

My dd aged 1.5 looked out of the window and saw the little mini snowman we had made out in the garden and did a sign for 'milk cat'.

These are hilarious :)

My Dsis now 10 has had some over the years and she still comes out with them now!

Pins & needles is known as having a sparkly foot/hand/arm and so on

Sanpro is known as "knicker stickers" Grin

Bras are booby baskets, or bras, plural as in"do you have your bras on today" or that's a nice bras" rather than bra. Explained as bras come in a pair like trousers etc.

Skidmarks in pants, toilets etc is "brown butter" ewww...

And she wouldn't go to sleep without albas oil for a while, so at bedtime would ask "can I have some smell on my cushion" Grin
