Do you ever look at your children and think 'wtf'?

I woke up this morning to see The 'Tude in my bed eating a block of cheese. I just looked at him and he said "Me have breakfast like Buddy" as if he knew what I was thinking.

It wad this morning that I thought he gets this weirdness from his dads side, obviously

Pahaha. He sounds so funny.

My DD got ready for school (she's ill) and was doing her hair. I told her that she probably shouldn't go in, But she really does love school. So left her to it.

I went to the toilet, came back down and she's fast asleep on the sofa. Tights half way up her legs and half her hair brushed.

My four yr old has taken to singing everything she says at the mo...makes for some interesting conversations

10 month old dd is fascinated with everything she shouldn't be. Give her a pack of baby wipes and she's entertained for ages. I just look at her and think weirdo most of the time!

My dd spent a week (yes, a whole week) as a flamingo when she was 4.

DipDab, my oldest used to be fascinated with baby wipes too. I have a fab photo of her surrounded by the contents of a packet she'd unpacked (she used to try and get them back in too)

My 15 month old is actually really weird, in a funky way obviously.

She has already learned how to spin around so she gets really dizzy, and the other day she was walking around with a paper gift bag on her head, laughing at herself.

She dances to any kind of music, but the type of music determines the type of dance. So lively music gets the knees bopping, slow music gets a head sway.

I often look at her and think wtf, yes!

15 month old dd2 is also obsessed with baby wipes. The other day she very earnestly came to me in the kitchen, frowning, and shaking her head saying 'no, no, no' and made me come with her into the living room where she showed me her lovely baby wipe mountain. All the while keeping up her serious 'no, no, no'-ing.

Dd1, just turned 4, is magnificently weird. Yesterday she was eating a bretzel and managed to bite a sort of flap into it, which she obviously decided was a mouth. The bretzel then became 'naughty spiderman' who gave poor old tomato-nose the clown, which was on her plate made out of crusts and a tomato, the scolding of a life time. It was enough to make poor tomato nose's crust mouth turn from a smile into a sad face but when naughty spiderman's head fell off altogether, the smile came back again.

oh yes I get the weird breakfast combos when I have the audacity to not be up before ds2(4)

I think the most creative one was a pop tart with Cadbury flake yoghurt over the top and ham on the side! he's always so proud of himself too.

My dd when she was three spent an entire month speaking only in parseltongue (Harry Potter). Drove me bonkers but was also endearingly funny too!

Your children are all completely adorable!!!

I miss my baby/toddler/really young DS. He's 7 now and isn't quite as cute as he was. Although he did suggest the other day that no fun should be had for the rest of the day, so time could stop flying....

poirot that is very cute! my ds1 (8) has said similar a few times. it always makes me sad that time is going so fast.

I think my children are funny and sweet pretty much in equal measure

I do wonder if dd was swapped at birth, she is bouncy, loud she is like tigger on speed! Dramatic, can't stop singing, acts really dippy and it's very hard to tell if she is dippy or just pretending to be dippy because she knows it makes me laugh

I wonder what I ate in pregnancy, or maybe I was hitler in a past life, I must have been evil to deserve this tornado!

So yeah, I do think wtf when I look at her

Ds1 is doing his GCSE and I said "I don't want any Bs, B stands for bum and boobs, I just want As" so he said "A stands for anus"

Loving this! DD2 is obsessed with baby wipes as well, she goes a step further and licks them though.. She also spins around in one direction but looks the other way while howling with laughter.
DS got up early for a change yesterday and obviously couldn't be bothered to make himself any breakfast, I came down to find him eating a packet of breadsticks and a tub of Philadelphia, using it like a dip! He topped it off with a bowl of dry cornflakes and buggered off to school.
DD1 has no quirks like that now, just the ability to spend half an hour brushing her shoulder length hair rather absent mindedly.

My son loved baby wipes as a baby. He would suck them.

My dd (2y) has a foldy bench to clean her teeth... she gets it from the bathroom to climb our bed which is tall... she can get out of the bed without the bench though.

Ysterday she was on our bed before bedtime and we said, ok, time for bed, we will wait for you in your room, and took the bench away yo the bathroom...

We then see her (while sitting in her room waiting for her) running to the bathroom to get the bench, to climb on the bed again so she can get down with the bench, put it away and then come to her room for pyjamas and story...

Such funny stories
My DD squeezed herself into her little cousins little tykes car when she was 16. It took 2 adults (& a few bruises!) to get her out!
I stood by laughing my head off &taking photos of course.

21month old DS is a funny wee man. Last time he made me laugh he was trying to stick his head through the staircase whilst making his dinosaur noise....reminded me of jack Nicholson in the shining!

The other day I discovered 4yo dd1 by the open front door before we set off for nursery. I asked her why she'd opened the door already as she'd got no shoes or coat on yet, and she replied 'I'm warming the outside up. It's cold out there'

Shall I dock her pocket money when we get our heating bill?

DS (9) came home from school a couple of weeks ago to say that so-and-so in his class had just come back from a 2 week holiday. In Afghanistan. After I'd finished guffawing I explained how unlikely I thought that was, he argued & argued that it was true so I sent him in the next day "to check." He then said he thought he'd got the country wrong but couldn't remember where the boy did actually go, "but it was somewhere near Narnia."

22mo DD often puts something that's not a hat on her head, says 'hat', and then laughs like she just made the best joke in the world.

My 5 year old us still a nutter - I love it!! He spent ages this morning trying to convince me that his tongue was a " fake" one before laughing and telling he that he had tricked me.
His sister is 9 and all grown up and dignified :(((

I might have to hide this thread. Almost nothing makes me broody for more but this thread does.
