Ds is 5 and his fave tv is Dr who. he loves it. when the adveryts come on during the week he spins round so fast to see if it is coming on. an then i have to explain how many "sleeps" there are till it comes on.

sparklemagic · 06/05/2006 19:56

DS (3 yrs) absolute fave is not a telly programme but a video we got from the library - Meg and Mog!

Greensleeves · 06/05/2006 20:00

ds1 doesn't watch much actual telly, because I loathe CBeebies - but his favourite video is probably the Brambly Hedge Winter Story at the moment..although he is very fond of Ivor the Engine. Ds2 loves Rainbow and the Clangers.

foxinsocks · 06/05/2006 20:02

I love that Meg and Mog video - we also got it from the library. It's strangely fascinating (probably because so little goes on in the background compared to other cartoons!).

Your 5 and 4 yr olds are brave watching dr. who. Mine would be terrified!

fattiemumma · 06/05/2006 20:06

its funny you say that cos he spends most of the show hiding at the side of the telly lol.

the thing is he abslutly LOVES it.

i'm surprised so many other children his age watch it, i thought he was just mad lol

Not very unusual or anything, but my 15 month old is addicted to Hi5. Mind DF is also fairly addicted, particulaly to Kelly, the blonde australian...

WelshBoris · 06/05/2006 20:08

DD is 19 months, loves anything with animals in it.

Also likes cbeebies much to my dismay

7up · 06/05/2006 20:10

ds 18months balamory, ds 11years tracey beaker, the bill, crimewatch

acnebride · 06/05/2006 20:21

ds is 2.4 - the great BOB mainly because the library has loads of dvds of his

also because i like it too Smile

Adorabelle · 06/05/2006 20:26

dd is 23 months & loves Charlie & lola, I also
enjoy it! Tikkabilla also v.popular, I find Sarah Jane a wee bit annoying though, Love Justin
mind you

biglips · 06/05/2006 20:27

deffo fimbles and pingu (dd is 19 mths old)

Thomcat · 06/05/2006 20:31

It's not a tv prog as she's not really into tv programmes, she loves putting a dvd on and her absolute fav at the mo is the really awful Snow Dogs with Cuba Gooding Jr. It's so bad but she loves it.

WHen she pronounces the name Snow Dogs she says snow through her nose, it's so funny and worth it being played just to hear her say it!

saadia · 06/05/2006 21:06

Ds loves Lazytown, he also watches ER with me and when the adverts come on we both say "oh no it's the rubbishy adverts".

1Baby1Bump · 06/05/2006 21:08

Pocoyo! Yay!!

gegs73 · 06/05/2006 21:10

DS 2 loves Thomas the Tank engine videos and could watch them on repeat all day as long as I let him... Penance for me hating it as a child.

TwoIfBySea · 06/05/2006 21:37

Megastructures.

And tbh it is quite interesting, I'm learning a lot too! Whatever is being built is then replicated in megablocks by dts (4 1/2.)

Of course they like Charlie and Lola, Boogie Beebies, Little Einsteins (We've got a miisssiiiooonnn!)

HunKeRMunKeR · 06/05/2006 21:38

Fifi, Noddy and Deal Or No Deal Grin

(where was the controversial thread [nosy])

Steppy1 · 06/05/2006 21:43

..with you saadia, DS (5) looooves lazy town (he wants to be Sporticas which is great because its all about exercise and healthy eating !) but he also loves to watch casualty and Holby sity with mummy (he falls asleep actually when he's watchin git in bed with me...but then so do I quite often ) DD obsessed with dinosaurs at the moment...Jurassic park frightens the life out of (them both !!!) but they love spotting the dinosaurs...

emkana · 06/05/2006 21:45

Probably won't be popular for saying this, but I am a bit Shock at some of you letting your children watch programmes like ER, Holby City or Casualty.

My dd's are nearly five and nearly three and their favourite programme is Dora the Explorer. It's soooo formulaic (sp?) but they adore it!

Greensleeves · 06/05/2006 21:47

I was a bit shocked at the 11 year old watching The Bill and Crimewatch. Not in my house Grin
