My ds is 11 and watches the Bill - but we watch it together and often have a lot of discussions about issues that are brought up. I don't let him watch ER or Crimewatch, he also adores Sharpe but I had to stop him watching the most recent one very early on as it was gratuitously, graphicly violent. [Sean Bean still rocks though ]
DD (8) would watch every crap american import (Zoe 101, Drake and Josh etc) if she could, but they're rationed and Recess and Tracy Beaker are banned.
Both adore the Simpsons, and wierdly still drop everything for Pippin!

Play with me Sesame and Bear in the Big Blue House!

DS is only 14mo though so this may very well change later on!

crazydazy · 08/05/2006 09:42

DS (nearly 4) - loves SPD Power Rangers, Batman and Scooby Doo, he hates Cbeebies.

DD (6) - is not a big TV watcher but will watch Charlie and Lola and Smarteenies

hannahsaunt · 08/05/2006 11:07

ds1 (5.5) loves Saturday Morning Kitchen especially the segments with Jamie Oliver and always leaves when it's Antony W-T. It's been his favourite for 2 years now.

DD is 3 and loves Charlie and Lola and Our Planet. My faves on the CBeebies selection too. Anyone else find the people on Smarteenies unbelievably irritating??? And what is this fascination with Lazy Town?!

Bozza · 09/05/2006 11:59

DD (2) not keen on telly was being looked after by DH yesterday while I had my smear. They watched Pingu together then DH tried to put on a bit of the Cinderella DVD we had started watching on Sunday with DS. DD was not impressed so he decided to watch Match of the Day that he had videoed. I arrived back at this point to DD saying animatedly "ball" with a big grin on her face.

DS (5) also likes all sports programmes - was glued to the London Marathon.
