hopefully this will be a less controversial thread Grin

Ds is 5 and his fave tv is Dr who. he loves it. when the adveryts come on during the week he spins round so fast to see if it is coming on. an then i have to explain how many "sleeps" there are till it comes on.

do your children have an odd fave?

prolly because you haven't got an 11 year old Greensleeves Grin

Greensleeves · 06/05/2006 21:51

I used to look after one a lot of the time though - and worked as an assistant matron in a boarding house full of yr 7s Grin

Not suitable viewing for 11 year old IMHO.

coppertop · 06/05/2006 21:51

Ds1 (nearly 6yrs) and ds2 (3yrs) both love Dr Who and Stargate (SG1 and Atlantis).

She also likes Meg and Mog but it freaks me out a bit esp the fact that Meg hasn't got a back to her head, like JFK Shock

shall if I like Grin
is it because it's common or something??
I certainly used to watch all sorts of tosh like the Bill (well not the actual Bill because I is too old but you know....) when I was eleven with my family. and now I hate most telly.also my brain is not rotted or anything
so not sure what that proves...

TRIOMUM · 06/05/2006 21:55

Bloody "Lazytown". My ds1 role plays as Sporticus, my dd1 plays Stephanie, and my ds2 plays Robbie Rotten - Wot more can I say!!!

fattiemumma · 06/05/2006 21:55

Streppy - my DS is obsessed with dinosaurs. he has all the jurassic park dvd's and Godzilla...i know they raent really meant for a child of his age but he just loves the film....its funny thoguh cos he watches it whilst hiding behind the door and pokign his head out. but if i offer to turn it off of its scaring him he shouts NOO and runs to the telly to stop me lol.

Greensleeves · 06/05/2006 22:02

FrannyandZooey · 06/05/2006 22:09

Ah so this is where you have been hanging out Shock

you knew quite well I would not find you in here

and neither of you ever answer my emails

Greensleeves · 06/05/2006 22:10

You're right, I have been an email slob this weekend - I owe replies. But you have been mean to me now, so I don't have to send you one Grin

FrannyandZooey · 06/05/2006 22:12
Shock

"mean"?

That wasn't mean, that was unbridled admiration

:)

Greensleeves · 06/05/2006 22:15

Well, I can understand that - after all, I am growing my own lentils...Grin

FrannyandZooey · 06/05/2006 22:16

fattiemumma · 06/05/2006 23:04

If we are talking about when I was younger, it is

Rentaghost

Now! LAZYTOWN

all4girlz · 07/05/2006 00:26

mine love doodlebops at the mo when it is on
higglytown heroes but dd2 5 wants to know when they are making more sick of repeats
little einsteins and lazytown

tuppenceworth · 07/05/2006 01:02

Balamory, followed closely by Big Cook, Little Cook. DS likes to whizz around on a wooden spoon imitating Little Cook Small! Grin

BudaBabe · 08/05/2006 09:23

DS (4.5) loves Power Rangers atm.

Also likes Lazytown.

He loves hospital programmes but becomes a total hypochondriac after watching them. He watches Casualty and Holby only if we are in my Mums (so maybe 3/4 times in total).

He still likes most things on Nick Jr and Tiny Pops - oh - loves Timothy Goes to School too.
