I've been scouting around the site for a few weeks, looking for info on parentnig issues (soon to be stepmother) and I was wondering how do you bear to talk like this about your family members? What's wrong with you all??

Mental chaff? Hmm

EthelredOnAGoodDay · 07/12/2012 19:32

I think you need to look up the meaning of self righteous SDTG wasn't praising herself, she was praising the site.

It is easier for Andula to be unpleasant to me, than to admit that I might have made some good points that countered her very negative OP, I suspect.

ggirl · 07/12/2012 19:39

poor old Dull Alan is having to resort to poking it with a stick to try and get everyone wound up.

PenelopePisstop · 07/12/2012 19:43

santashug :-)

I don't like the DD, DS, DH carry on much either. But use it anyway. I once showed my DS (Eck) a post and he asked what the D thing meant. When I told him he was horrified "no way Ma!"

Andula · 07/12/2012 19:46

woolly hugs? I assumed that was a joke.

OP posts:
TheOneWithTheHair · 07/12/2012 19:47

God you are so offensive. Of course it's not a bloody joke!!

tethersjinglebellend · 07/12/2012 19:48

I'm bored of this now.

Can we talk about kittens?

Or communism?

Andula · 07/12/2012 19:48

lol @ being called pretty harsh names for disliking an acronym and being called a troll by the same people. priceless.

OP posts:
pepperrabbitanddesultorytinsel · 07/12/2012 19:48

You should do less "assuming".
Biscuit

SantasHugandRollintheSnow · 07/12/2012 19:48

TeamBacon · 07/12/2012 19:48

Or communist kittens, Tethers? Did you know that David Baddiel has (or possible had...) a cat called Chairman Miaow?

SDTGisAChristmassyWolefGenius · 07/12/2012 19:50

Hugs website here. Or look at the threads in Arts and Crafts. I have knitted squares for maybe 10 blankets for mumsnettersm who have lost a child or partner, and two comfort blankets for Yorkhill, and am going to knit the little white blankets for premature stillborn babies. Why would I joke about that?

tethersjinglebellend · 07/12/2012 19:51

Do you think they could stage an effective coup though, born?

I'm not sure.

They could only storm the palaces of our oppressors if the bathroom window's been left open.
