I can't be the only one with a bit of a nappy obsession.

Can I? [confussed]

ValiumQueen · 14/10/2012 18:55

Might be Wink

Now we need some football ones for dp. Weenotions (iirc) do a "Footy fan cos Daddy says so" aio, but at £22 they're having a giraffe! I have bought a hat and bootees set with "Little Saint" on which pleased him mightily (outs self geographically, too!)

BiscuitCrumbsInBed · 14/10/2012 19:25

Haha purple I know where you are! Sis's bf is a saints fan too Smile and my ex bf from a million years ago was a pompey fan... V jealous of guitar wet bag! Need to get on the preloved sale boards, how do I find them on fb?

PurplePidjin · 14/10/2012 19:36

I'm on "Cloth Bum Mums" and "Pre-loved Cloth nappies and accessories" plus various off shoots. A search should find them?

BiscuitCrumbsInBed · 14/10/2012 21:45

Thanks! Will investigate now...

Notgrownupinmyhead · 15/10/2012 11:20

Dont start on guitars, DH's take up alot of space.

Ill have a look at them fb pages.

Didn't we meet on the metal thang PP!?

PurplePidjin · 15/10/2012 13:00

I have 2 guitars, a violin, a viola, a piano, a ukelele, a snare drum and a xylophone plus various harmonicas, tin whistles, recorders etc. And 2 shelves of scores, books and teaching paraphernalia. In a 2 bed flat!

I'm not really a metaller, Notgrownup, more blues/rock/classical :)

ValiumQueen · 15/10/2012 16:30

Tiger nappy here. Lovely. Camouflage on order.

DH has too many guitars, and a sodding piano. We have no space for these things, and he told me the pram has to live in the garage. I suggested he did. Very grumpy today.

ValiumQueen · 15/10/2012 16:31

I cried when the nappy arrived as I was so happy, as it is the only good thing about today. Sodding hormones.

LeBFG · 15/10/2012 16:51

Ar, VQ. Poor you. Nice when a bit of shopping arrives in the post to make it a little bit better. Hormones have a lot to answer for them buggars. How are the labour pains going? Any more signs yet?

ValiumQueen · 15/10/2012 17:00

BFG nothing sustained, but enough to get me excited. Thank God for nappies. They are what I am focusing on at the moment, that and Dexter (TV series). I have even started reading the old nappy threads from 2004! Sad or what!

PurplePidjin · 15/10/2012 17:00

and Brew

My instruments (apart from the piano, which btw is electric therefore small) live under the bed out of the way.

ValiumQueen · 15/10/2012 17:22

Thank you Smile

PurplePidjin · 15/10/2012 17:48

Alternatively, you can hang them from picture hooks - loop string round the neck under the nut/strings

ValiumQueen · 15/10/2012 18:44

I would like to hang him on the wall from the nuts! They are on the wall at the moment. Under the bed I would not have to look at the ruddy things. No room under bed unfortunately.

BiscuitCrumbsInBed · 15/10/2012 20:32

Hey VQ, sounds like you're having a bad day, wish I could offer you Wine but in the heavily pregnant circs, better be Brew and chocolate! Your DD is going to love her tiger nappy Smile how is she, all better? Maybe the guitars could go on eBay while you're browsing for nappies, or would that be ground for divorce....?

I just had a look on the Facebook groups and people are selling second hand nappies for £17!! Shock they were wee notions ones though which I think are sort of couture nappies (!) custom made with embroidery and stuff... Very cool but seriously?! I love the fluff but there's a limit....

Too many funny faces and pictures in this post! Sorry!

PurplePidjin · 15/10/2012 20:41

I know, you have to take some of it with a quarry full pinch of salt. "Slings and Things - FSOT and advice" is even more hilarious Blush

ValiumQueen · 15/10/2012 21:19

Thank you biscuit I am just grumpy late stages pg, and at 43 that is hard work.

DD seems fine now. She clearly has mega sensitive bits. Hopefully they are not allergic to tiger!

I think fluff is on the up as some prices on eBay are daft too.

BiscuitCrumbsInBed · 15/10/2012 22:24

Excellent, we are all investing wisely, fluff is much better than shares or pensions!

Notgrownupinmyhead · 16/10/2012 08:38

It is. Im going to put DH and his guitars on Ebay. Grin

I hated this late stage VQ hopefully not too feckin long now.

Got to drop 1 at school. Lovely with 2 babies!!

Would soda crystals get the stink oot of nappies i wonder???

NumptyDumty · 16/10/2012 19:20

Hi Guys,

Can I join?

I have a DS who is 18 weeks old, been using cloth for about 2 months and I have successfully converted my very stubborn sceptical OH to the fluffy side!

PurplePidjin · 16/10/2012 19:33

Congratulations that's some conversion :o

fudge74 · 16/10/2012 19:48

Hi there numpty what fluff are you using?

All - this thread has 500 messages - does anyone know what the limit is? I don't want to lose this group!

I had two non-roll-off-poo nappies yesterday, grrrr!
