I'm also exclusively expressing for my 3 month old for 40 minutes 6 times a day so there goes the 15 minutes rule! Doh!

spursmum · 08/01/2006 16:06

To repeat myself just for you FAS it took my ds just under a week to be dry for over 4 hours! it's just the letting go thats the problem with him.
Pooka-is your dd quite wary around strangers? I would put her in pull ups until she is settled, there will be too much going on for her to realise that she needs to go iyswim.

Exvellent Lockets.
Spursmum - dd not particularly wary of strangers but has never been in a large (i.e. 20 plus) crowd of kids. Just think she might be a bit reticent about approaching the (lovely) staff at first.

spursmum · 08/01/2006 18:48

Pooka my ds was the same. Now the problem is getting him to come home!

hunkermunker · 08/01/2006 18:51

Cod, not in any way interested in potty training DS yet, just wondered what your age that they must be trained by is?

knat · 08/01/2006 19:17

my dd is 27 months and want to potty train her. If you ask her where she should wee and poo she says potty but nothing more. I had a failed attempt in the summer and built up gradually bu putting her on the potty after meals and it was quite successful until she went cold turkey in pants and it got really bad. Gave up as she was getting too upset. Do you think I should just go for it rather than the slow build up???? I'm definitely doing it this time and i've said when these nappies run out i'm not buying any more!!!

What time do you want us to report in the morning Cod?
