i have thought of perfect compromise

those tighter boxers with lycra instead of cotton?

Lonelymum · 08/01/2006 20:22

Still messy to clean up (you have to go down the legs). Pants are much easier.

So any advice on getting them dry at night, or is that a different thread?

What don't even try?

DD1 was dry at night at 2, ds1 still in pull ups at 5.5 and dd2 at 4, costs a bloody fortune.

OOh ok, I won't worry about it for now. Too bloody knackered to be messing around at night anyway.

pooka · 09/01/2006 11:09

Have just been on first trip out without nappy - ds has rash so went to see HV and have to go to GP tomorrow.
dd did pee before we wnet out. Took potty. No accidents. Clothes I thought she'd grown out of because too snug round middle now fit!

codthemod · 09/01/2006 11:19

iw odulnt drag a potty around
gett ehjm to go in a bush or on the loo

spursmum · 09/01/2006 12:37

Update for Cod. Ds has been home an hour and has had an accident. The good news was that he was in the bathroom so I think he has realised what I want him to do and was trying to get to the toilet.
An improvement I think.

pooka · 09/01/2006 12:47

Not many bushes (at least other than in people's front gardens - and I think using them would be frowned on) here Cod. Rather urban.
Asked 2 times to pee on loo, and has. Then did a poo in her knickers Never mind. Said "these knickers don't have a hole" asif she was expecting the stuff to just disappear!

Nemo1977 · 09/01/2006 12:49
