I think I will stay lurking .

Might try on Thursday as DS at nursery all day Mon and Wed and we go to a group on Tiesday am.

I normally get a bit bored on Thursdays so may as well get weed on as well.

I think I may not be serious enough for this thread

I see the anti bac wipes coming in to good use then!

spursmum · 08/01/2006 14:51

Im not bothered. My carpet needs a good clean anyway so if this works I shall be hiring the Rug doctor carpet cleaner. Sad isn't it?!

Quick question codmaster- how long would you recommend keeping them on the toilet for?
And a hint for anyone liable to forget every 15 minutes-use the cooker timer, I am!!

hayleylou · 08/01/2006 15:31

Was just about to ask the same question spursmum

pooka · 08/01/2006 15:51

I am still here but feel a bit of a fraud - have had a bit of a jump start and today dd has asked 3 times to pee on her potty (smug). But haven't ventured out in knickers yet, too terrifying. Am a wuss. A complete wuss.
Do I take a potty out with me or her loo seat? And do yu think that 1st day at pre-school on Wednesday it would be OK to send her in pull-ups? I don't want her to get upset if she has accident and want her to settle in ok as she's never been left with anyone other than relatives. Then maybe by her next time (Friday pm) I could be braver???? Or is that a cop out?
Oooh PiccCirc - you too???

harpsichordcarrier · 08/01/2006 15:54

me! me!
don't have any pants though
oops
may have to start tuesday [sheepish]

fastasleep · 08/01/2006 16:01

I don't have time to read all the thread but my MIL (she's nice tho honest) has pressured me into attemping the dreaded training... DS is 22 months but he says 'POO!' and then pulls the mat out and then walks up to you and goes squidge... he's started doing it for wee too!...

What do I need to do with such a young one? And I have to use public tranpsort whenever we go out, how would I manage a 40 minute + bus ride whilst going cold turkey! !
