he si a good boy
cna he sort out finances?

lact8 · 13/01/2006 10:05

poor mamb!! sound like AA member but try to look at it one day at a time, they won't still be doing it when they're 5 will they? (although ds1 9 and still needs reminding spesh if star wars/pokemon involved!)

think ds2 loses interest by the afternoon as mornings usually go well, he asks to go, no prompting but by 2 ish i'm boring myself asking him does he want to go, so could be the same with your little chap?

Re boob squeezing, as name suggests b'feeding at mo so explosive to touch so no worries bout anymore dd's or ds's in making!

yes, he is doing a great job at that too - he is an all star

the only thing is that with the lack of nappy he is playing with winky far far far more - he has a new hobby

his dad is thrilled as he keeps saying "Im big like Dad"

pottytrainingcod · 13/01/2006 10:05

yes here starts a career of genital fascination ime

tracyk · 13/01/2006 10:05

What/s the deal on ages then? ds is 22 mo and imo not quite ready for this. How many poos are your lo's doing in a day? Sometimes ds will have 4 poos. Do I need to wait till he reduces down to 1 or 2?

lact8 · 13/01/2006 10:06

ha ha! weeing in dumper truck v funny!!

pottytrainingcod · 13/01/2006 10:06

too young tracey

tracyk · 13/01/2006 10:07

summertime for me then?

MeAndMyBoy · 13/01/2006 11:19

Yep deep breath and start sticking the washing machine on to catch up and have lots of spare pairs of trousers again. Running out of knickers though as nursery throw them away if they poo in them.

LOL lact8 AA member, pecka, your little one sounds a star, loved the dumper truck. Least it's not on the floor or carpet. Nemo how did toddlers go? and your HV - what stupid thing to say. Think she had nothing helpful to add so just avoided it.

Just have resign myself to 3 steps forward and 2 back for the nursery days. But we will get there. As you say.

oh god have just gone in the kitchen and DS has emptied the washing up bowl onto the floor so that he can doing the washing up!!

lact8 · 13/01/2006 12:03

mamb, glad not the only one, ds2 being good as far as weeing going, must've gone bout 12x already but helped with clothes washing...opened cupboard(with child lock, should send him off as tester for makers of child locks as not tried one he cant suss out yet!! ) and filled washing machine drawer and floor with washing powder. at least he's learning males can use washing machines too.....

is there anyway you can speak to nursery so they can follow same methods as you? surely in their interests as well for him to be dry?

lact8 · 13/01/2006 12:14

aarghh!! want to blame mums net for this one but know its me really just clicked on post message from prev post, looked to see what ds2 doing, as v quiet (why didn't i realise?) and standing in puddle with big grin saying "stinky poo". 1st accident so far and only time i've not been on ball today. that'll teach me i suppose...

veuveclicquot · 13/01/2006 12:43

Does this thread cover DDs who will only poo in a nappy? Otherwise toilet trained at 3.0.

MeAndMyBoy · 13/01/2006 13:26

Oh lact8 you have my sympathy .

Lol at men using the washing machine - DS is quite house trained currently - washing up, washing machine, dishwasher - I know it won't last

DS is performing nicely at the moment poo and big wee in the potty all because he doens't want to be eating lunch. To try and get him to finish the 3 spoonfuls on his plate I am on here and ignoring him until he starts eating!! ( I Know a different thread entirely)

So least I know the poo's are safe for today

Nemo1977 · 13/01/2006 13:47

hello all
well toddlers was ok. DS refused to go to the toilet with me..lol However I managed to get and show him where it was. KEpt asking him if he needed to go and he got most annoyed so I backed off. Then I saw him heading in the direction of the loo so I followed him to find him in the toilet stood by the potty but weeing. I think he couldnt get his pants down quick enough as at home he likes to take them off fully. So I whipped them off and he finished off on the potty. So technically half an accident which isnt bad for 3hrs out of the house. however he has just stood and weed on the floor but i dont know why. He refuses to actually ask me can he go wee but just goes himself so will keep seeing how it goes as I have told him no nappies unless he is asleep now.

Beetrootfultoyourself · 13/01/2006 13:47

shouldn't it be toilettrainingcod? as you don't advocate pottys?

pottytrainingcod · 13/01/2006 13:49

well doen nemo!
veuev cliqcout- the trick is not to put a nappy on you nobbo!

Nemo1977 · 13/01/2006 14:01

pottytrainingcod · 13/01/2006 14:02

lact8 · 13/01/2006 14:09

well done nemo, you get gold star for going out

mamb, can we swap ds's? mine never poos anywhere but pants

cathyspam · 13/01/2006 14:15

Okay I may have been the proud poo picture mum - I was having a bad day - DH had pissed off and I needed to share with someone. I am very embarrased now and hope you can all forgive me! It was in bad taste! Anyway I kind of want to join this thread if I am not banished - am I banished?

lact8 · 13/01/2006 16:59

well, best day yet.. ds2 had one poo accident but not counting them as will not poo in toilet and half acident, bit of dribble on pants but stopped himself and asked to go so even tho change of pants required not bad at all.

neighbour called to see new baby, v embarrassed at clothes ds2 wearing, v small brum t shirt and even smaller old pj's, the shame, wanted to say " i can cope with 3 children really"

Nemo1977 · 13/01/2006 17:15

pmsl lact8 short t shirts arr required when potty training though..lol Ds is currently running around in a superman top so am telling him superman has to wee on his superpotty and hes just looking at me like i am loopy..sigh
