Fab tutor gave me an extension & organised a home exam for me.

But I still have to do the bloody work

So crack the whip & shout (but quietly as I am very sore and stiff today)

Am doing OU too so feel your pain. Arm yourself with some tasty treats and a large pot of coffee.

Seriously, I find 20-30 min chunks works best for me or my mind starts wandering. Then I take a small break to do something else then back to it.

You can do it.

Good luck! I'm having a 'school day' tomorrow, I HAVE to get this assignment done this weekend, else I'll never finish the course. It's always so much worse when the subject is so boring that you have absolutely no desire to read about it though!

KatyMac · 12/03/2011 09:08

I know - I am doing one course I hate & one I love

I should be doing better as this is the one I love

Well no - but it is more than half way there

I have 3 diagrams & some analysis to do - maybe tomorrow?

DD is doing something red nose today & Mummy has to support (& pay for most of it)

Enjoy hoovering? Contradiction in terms.

At least you're procrastinating something worthwhile.

Diagram means nothing to me but well done anyway.

Is that your daughter in the dancing pics? She is very pretty.

Bonkerz · 13/03/2011 14:26

I am now 4 weeks behind on my study timetable. I have just got lazy as im not enjoying this year at all. (and im 31 weeks pregnant but that doesnt stop me sitting still and studying really!) lol
next tma not due till april though so still time to catch up.....thats if i can actually get the books out of the drawer!

KatyMac · 13/03/2011 14:49

Come on Bonkerz - get to work!!

etheina, yes that is DD & DH; I agree with you.....but then I would PFB

littleducks · 13/03/2011 18:16

They diagram had me going Hmm at first but (i think) it an illustration of a family seperating and maintainance payments and the CSA.....am prepared to skulk off if its about something totally different!

I still have my assignement to do, dh has been complaining about having a messy house, so we now have a clean and neat house and i have 4 pages to write before 2 pm tomorroe [eeek!]

I must admit i would rather study than clean, as the house rapidly deterioates/needs recleaning and it feels like time wasted whereas once an essay is written it cant be undone Blush
dh disagrees Sad

KatyMac · 13/03/2011 18:29

You get a big gold star!!

It's called a rich picture and it is a biased and judgemental view of the CSA; it is biased & judgemental in it's intent......you can't do one that isn't it must include emotions & your own perspective.

Cleaning......Hmm DH does that & cooked the most fab Sunday lunch

OP posts:
Bonkerz · 13/03/2011 19:32

well i got the book out of the drawer! hoorah and plan to do NOTHING but STUDY from 9:30-12:30 tomorrow.

the problem with OU study is that you HAVE to have the computer on which invariably leads to facebook and mumsnet! so distracting and i have no will power! LOL

KatyMac · 13/03/2011 19:35

I have 2 windows open MN on one & OU on the other

It doesn't work too badly
