I LET my boys play 'nasty' playstations and gamecubes etc!!!!

I'm more evil than you because we've got a PS2, an Xbox, a Gamecube and a Dreamcast. Everybody has their own gameboy (me and Dh have SPs) and we let them play them!!!!!!

...put sugar in their cups of tea....

Let them drink things that aren't water or milk

I ahve the TV on quite often for most of the day (crappy daytime tV not cartoons etc)

Because I keep losing my temper AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

have the telly on all day

let them 'get on' with playing without joining in

let them eat cakes, biscuits, sweets and flapjack

...forget to give them breakfast...send them off to school eating a biscuit....

(this follows on from another thread where 'we' were being critisised for allowing...no ... i will say 'ENCOURAGING' our kids to play games consoles!!!!

go to McDonalds.........actually in the MN levels of bad motherhood, that's probably worse than games consoles.

They also raely get dressed before noon at the weekends!!!

Let them watch telly before school.

but hasn't it been proved that some time spent playing gamecubes/playstation etc etc - can actually be beneficial to some children.

I'm not talking spending all day staring at it, but in short 'chunks' I'm sure I read somewhere that it actually helped to aid concentration and other 'things' in children

Ds2 still often uses a bottle at 2.7yrs.

Ds1 has an entire arsenal of toy guns and weapons.

Ds2 was still running around hyper at midnight last night.

I could be typing for a long time.......

dd drinks juice rather than water!

DS's both drink squash!

plus, she had a wee sip of my tea this morning!

(when we can afford to buy it) I let them eat biltong (very salty dried meat)

me too, do have to go out to the supermarket today though... ooooh the fun!

thanks QofQ...on the 'other' thraed i posted some links to news articles backing up the fact that games consoles helop with HandEye Co-ordination etc!!!

I buy cheesestrings because they like them, and it makes doing their packed lunches easier, ditto mini pepperamis and frubes.
