Just received my replacement lime Itti, sent to green baby. It has come all the way from Oz as I bought it from Itti at the babyshow! The date on parcel shows it has taken 3 weeks to come. I got fed up of waiting and now I have 2 limes so have put it on CNT and here.

Hello all.

Sorry have not been around for an age, RL has been busy!

The donated egg is now a baby in a babygrow!! They have had a girl, and are delighted. As am I. I'm so so glad it went ok for them!

No nappy news, unless you count really wanting some nappies as news Hmm

mumface · 20/08/2010 17:33

Oh wow tree that's brilliant news, well done to you all Grin

Hi got a couple of questions so thought I would ask the experts.

Been using reusables on 23 month old almost all the way through now and have started to notice they are getting a bit crispy and smelly.
Any tips on how to soften them and keep the smell to a minimum?

Have just given birth and she is only 6lbs. Disposable pampers size 1 fit round almost twice.

What is the best reusable to use on such a small bum and would I be best waiting till she puts some weight on?

thanks in advance.

4andnotout · 20/08/2010 22:49

Hi Debs, has the smell coincided with teething or illness as that can make for whiffy nappies? If not a strip wash might freshen them up? Congratulations on the new babies, teenyfits are new newborn nappies by totsbots and they are very good, a friend is using them on her premmie with great success. Muslins and a wrap are also fantastic for tiny newborns, im wracking my brains to think back to what i had for dd4, i think we had some kissaluvs and swaddlebees too. Hope that helps a bit :)

Debs75 · 21/08/2010 11:36

Thanks 4andnotout. I think the smell is just her wee changing and getting smellier. I try and line dry them as much as possible. Saying that she has popped a few teeth in the last few weeks.

CharlottesClan · 21/08/2010 11:48

well done tree! i am very pleased for you and them :o

well i am fed up. period was due yesterday. felt sick all day yesterday and day before, and most of today unless eating.
but no bloody positive tests. ive used about 10 in the last week and dh has banned me till tuesday
however, the one i did at 5am this morning was a first response. thought i could see a super faint line, so i took it apart. dh can see one too. but now we are thinking its an evaporation line.
why does ttc have to be so difficult.

oh and sorry for the mega repeated post! my phone being loopy!

mumface · 21/08/2010 22:28

Ready steady drool...HL bedbugs and A12's
I got an OBV outer A12 pumpkin. Hoping it doesn't wick but it's just so gorgeous and it doesn't need a wrap, I don't think I care lol Grin

Really hope i recoop my money being as they are mostly prewashed as i need it to replace with nappies that do fit him.

re preg tests mine all had barely visable line but were still positive so fingers crossed
