myjob well done you! I started my nurse training when DD1 was 3 and fell for DD2 was gonna go back last sept and fell for DT.....really shou8ld have figured out by now what is causing itHmm

As for building the fluffy stash, i say do it! The resell value is pretty good anyway esp if you have sooo many that they are all in gc as they dont get used enough...Wink

Was told that DT's ought to only really have two feeds a day now....as if that will happen :)

I agree with your logic myjob, enjoy the nappy stage and buying them while you can. What if you always thought 'I never did get to try a new weehuggers wrap' Grin She might surprise you and not train for another year and until that happens you are still in the game Smile

OP posts:
purpletasha · 15/09/2010 20:36

No further family extensions planned!! Twins was a big surprise as we were actually told that more would be impossible as i was not ovulating!!!Hmm
love the huge varied stash am still rebuilding to DH's delight :o
Hope its not long til you start on maternity!!

Hello, hello!! We are all ill here Hmm. Very envious about the weehuggers myjob, really wanted to try them but there are other things that also need trying first! In two minds over parting with some of my less used pretties so currently don't have the funds anyway.

ziggyf · 16/09/2010 20:32

Ooh weehuggers, must go and google them!

Got my first Easyfits this morning - love love love them Grin I've had to stop myself buying more, especially as babykind has a 10% sale on til midnight! Must resist must resist....

I've got a serious fluff addiction building here, any recommendations??

pookamoo · 17/09/2010 08:56

Hello, ladies,
ChunkiMunki and I have some questions for anyone who uses wool or fleece saockers.

We would be grateful for your advice! Smile

Thanks

mumface · 18/09/2010 20:44

Hellooooeee? Is there anybody out theeeere! Grin

OP posts:
bagpuss · 20/09/2010 12:35

Cooeee, I'm here! Have just added the last of our Newborn stuff to the for sale boards Sad.

mumface · 21/09/2010 11:05

Has anyone who got the free Maclaren liner off facebook randomly received another one? I have just had another in the post! It's a horrid yellow leopard print on one side but a nice brown on the other. Maybe they had loads left over. Or perhaps I got put on the list twice?

OP posts:
4andnotout · 22/09/2010 13:28

I did too!!! Mine is much nicer than the last one, it's majesty which is purple faux suede and a cotton print on the reverse, not keeping it though, need to sell 2 footmuffs, bee hood and this liner :)

I've spent any spare pennies on uniform for dd1 and winter clothes for the dd's as their wardrobes are bare!

mumface · 22/09/2010 13:46

I bought new uniform at the start of the year, now it looks like I'll have to buy different stuff if he changes school but still not heard anything.

I've had to complain about his school dinners now. He has a packed lunch provided by the school as you can choose hot or cold dinner. They have been giving him a cheese sandwich for lunch every day. And thats it! Just one sandwich. He's coming home starving. So then they start giving him a cheese sandwich and a biscuit. I am sending extra food with him now.

I really need to save for the Baby show in a months time, but now I'm getting my hair cut on Sunday. I've not had a hair cut in 11 months!

Morning all :)

Busy day for me today, bloodtests at 8.50am, then my first visit to fat club, then toddler group, then Rainbows and Brownies

It's drizzling as well when I'd been told it was going to be dry and warm all week Hmm will have to tumble dry the nappies today otherwise I won't have enough! I think I'm slowly losing interest in fluff, obviously will always use them just can't get excited about it at the mo, migh be because she is 2 next month and so grown up it won't be long before she pt's.

mumface · 23/09/2010 17:56

Hope your day went well 4.

I'm still feeling the nappy vibe. A lot. Would it be wrong to get large Itti's in silver and navy even tho I have them in tutto's? I don't like tutto's.

I've logged in and I now have an inbox on here!

OP posts:
joymaker · 23/09/2010 18:25

Hi guys, sorry for crashing the thread yet again but I just wanted to ask how many nappies you think are needed to keep say a one-ish year old and a baby in reusables?

I ask because I plan on having another baby in the future so I'm thinking of getting the required amount now which means doing a nappy wash less frequently than I am currently IYSWIM

joymaker · 23/09/2010 18:36

mumface Did the prob with the booster on the tutto persist or was it something else? (you were kind enough to give me the low-down on how you wre getting on with it the last time I crashed)

I decided to try the itti SIO's first and so far so good(though DS hasn't pooed in one yet) so thanks- I say buy the large ittis!

mumface · 23/09/2010 18:51

Well, I can't seem to get the Tuttos to fit well still the same problem with the front folding over and wicking. Don't like the baggy bum either. It might just be my babies shape though, I can't seem to get the waist snug enough. Glad you like the SIO's though.

I would say a minimum of 30+ nappies for a toddler and a newborn depending on type and drying facilities. It would be handy if you liked the Tutto's as they would fit both. Or found another one sized you really liked.

OP posts:
bagpuss · 23/09/2010 20:25

Hello everyone, nice to see busy thread! I'm still in a nappy vibey kind of way mumface! Lots of people know have said about the baggy bum on the tutto - I'm really over ittis at the minute, in fact a bit over minkee all together.

Joymaker, I cloth two and we have lots (Grin) but would recommend about 40 if you factor in night nappies and drying times. I can recommend Bumgenius Flips for good one size nappies - we love ours.

4 - I hope you day went well too Smile.

mumface · 23/09/2010 21:01

Yes, I like flips aswell, Wee huggers are on my wanted list too..

OP posts:
bagpuss · 23/09/2010 21:07

They were on mine, mumface, until I read about the stayput flaps being bamboo/cotton and the outers also being cotton. I am nervous of anything like this as ds2 never got on with cotton outers without them wicking. They are pretty though and the solids have poly outers apparently.
