Oh no Sad. Care to share? Am all ears if you need a chat.

bagpuss · 10/09/2010 11:24

mumface Sad. Our dcs switched schools and it was really the best thing for them. Hope it goes well for him Smile.

mumface · 10/09/2010 11:46

They've put him back in the same class with a boy that has been pushing him around for 2 years now and all he ever talks about is how he hopes he leaves him alone today. The teachers are not interested just getting him to write a sorry card etc. And it just makes me want to cry seeing him so sad at school.

Also have issues with school run, dangerous parking all up pavement. Road so busy to cross outside my house you have to wait for someone to stop to let you get accross (zebra crossing in the pipeline for ages but nothing) Roads on way to school COVERED with dog poo constantly having to say mind that!!

The other school has an online reporting system for bullying, is in the opposite directio so no road/poo issues and is now neared to me as they've opened up a new entrance at the back.

And he really wants to go aswell. Just feel sad that he has a couple of nice friends and so do I on the school run.

Hi guys apologies for crashing your thread -Have resisted the ittis up until now but want to ask you,the experts who have tried and tested heaps, before I now purchase

  1. How many hours before you guys have to change
the d'lish (with and without the booster) boo and to those who have now tried it,the tutto?
  1. How do they each perform in containing an exposive poo?
  1. Which is the slimmest fitting out of the
boo and tutto?

Thanks Smile

mumface · 10/09/2010 14:03

Joymaker- are you comparing bitti d'lish AIO/AI2's or bitti boo fitted nappies against tutto? There's not a d'lish boo. So not sure which you mean. Bitti boo needs a separate wrap so is bulkier with that on but will last longer.

OP posts:
CharlottesClan · 10/09/2010 15:20

ive only tried the dlish. great for younger babies, but no use for toddlers that wet heavier. and thats on 2 children (one boy one girl) same problem. hth :)

sorry to hear about school issues mumface, lets hope you get it sorted. i had similar troubles at school, and it does affect children more then the teachers seem to think. fingers crossed for that move :)

joymaker · 10/09/2010 15:40

Hi mumface
was initially going to try the d'lish until I heard they were launching the tutto, but just looked on the official site and saw the Boo which also looks good Confused- So I wanted to know how the 3 compare against one another, sorry hope that's clearer.

Charlottesclan thanks again, the d'lish looks like such a great fit and very cute so was very tempted, though I'm now thinking (practically) the other two may be a better bet. BG v3 with both mf inserts can last my DS 3-4 hrs (I've tried this a couple of times just to see Blush)

CharlottesClan · 10/09/2010 17:47

thing about the bg (and all other pockets) you can boost if you find the inserts arnt thirsty enough. the ittis are quite hard to boost, and even with the mini booster we just cant get any decent absorbency out of one. that and the fact there have been pul issues with some, and seems to be everyone i buy goes crinkly Confused which is odd as they insist it was a dodgy batch from last year, but ive bought brand new this year and had the same issue.

alos worth considering they are only guaranteed for a year i think (is that right guys?)

mumface · 10/09/2010 17:54

Ah I see, I think I read it wrong lol!

Tutto - I am having a problem with the tuttos at minute, they fit snugly for an hour or so, but then the front under the tummy begins to fold out exposing the top of the booster and wicking. It's on the large setting, same happens on xl and med won't even do up so that's not an option. Am trying different congfigurations of the boosters atm.

Bitti d'lish - I get on well with Bitti d'lish, large have no leaking and they're a great fit. Last 3-4 hours but Connor isn't a heavy wetter and doesn't really leak any of our nappies.

Boo's - I love bitti boo's, stay soft, absorbent only gripe is, the large are tiny! I can fit a d'lish shell on top so not sure how long they will last.

thanks for that mumface, I guess it seems to be a case of trial and error then; maybe i should get one of each and see which ones suit and which ever don't, just sell on

mumface · 10/09/2010 22:59

yes- maybe best Joymaker it so depends on the size shape, and amount baby wets. They should be easy enough to sell on.

Myjob- Hope you all throw off stinky colds soon Sad

OP posts:
mumface · 11/09/2010 11:25

Boo, my CAT subscription has run out it's £10 now, sure it was only £5 last year Sad

OP posts:
bagpuss · 11/09/2010 17:04

I did mine on 23rd Aug and it was only £5 Hmm

purpletasha · 11/09/2010 18:38

Boo to colds! Hope all are feeling better soon Myjob :)

Did an NCT sale for the 1st time today....and sold v.little! Trying to raise funds for fluffy post and clear out :o There was sooo much stuff left, i thought these sales were supposed to be sell outs was v disappointed :(

Not done my CAT yet but think i will now as i need to shift some stuff :)

mumface · 11/09/2010 21:09

Looks like I just caught the increase then Sad My CAT just ran out this week and they're asking £10 now. Not sure I'll bother, there's always CNT.

Purple- I've never neen to a NCT sale but I always thought they were very popular. Everybody's skint.

I got an amber teething necklace for Connor today it's very pretty with mixed shades. I am a bit worried he will break it though so not sure how often he will wear it. The boys wrestle around a lot Grin

lol myjob. i love my easyfits. shame george cant wear them atm. put a blueberry on him this morning. did an hour

dont know whether to invest in new inserts, or just sell them off and stick to fitteds Confused

bagpuss · 12/09/2010 20:52

Evening! CC, we're the same with our BBOS - they were fab and super reliable and now seem to spring a leak and feel damp around the legs Hmm. I love them to look at but not sure if I'll use them much now, maybe I will play around with the inserts and rise settings a bit.

lol, myjob - Easyfits are fab though and I'm sure it won't be a wasted investment Grin.

Has anyone got a Pop In Dream Dri V3? Feeling tempted to try something new and quicker drying to complement the easyfits. Have some V2s but never really used much now although I do like the fit of them. Wonder if the improvements on the V3 are worth it.

I have a new tumble dryer - old one broke last month and dh fixed it but it broke again yesterday. New one is super whizzy though - have done tonnes of laundry today!

DTs are teething. Horrid nappies again and dt2 has a rash now too - am hoping some bepanthen and a minkee liner will sort it.

purple, shame about the NCT sale. I've managed to find a twin mum locally who is having a B/G pair in Jan - I'm hoping to let her have some of our stuff soon as there is far too much of it! Can't face ebay or any kind of sales although I still have nappies to sell, just haven't got the inclination at the moment!

CharlottesClan · 13/09/2010 11:23

bagpus - i would love a new tumble dryer, mine is reaching that stage where i know its going to break down soon, just as case of when! taking forever to dry anything now, and is ever so loud!

george is with the neighbours today while im at college, so god nows what they will do if he fills his nappy PMSL!!

mumface · 13/09/2010 17:08

Grr to broken tumble dryers. I have a mini white knight one, I rarely use it but this week have needed to.
My stupid washing machine is leaking. It's coming from the drawer and pouring down the front.

Happy birthday to myjob and hope DS's first day at school went well.

CC- Great news about starting college, what are you studying?

OP posts:
CharlottesClan · 13/09/2010 19:09

mumface - im studying a foundation degree in network computing and software development (there is a brain in this 'ere 'ead!)

george did poo rofl! have promised to send him in disposables tomorrow. she was not impressed. she put a fitted on him without the wrap as well lol! poor woman, michael didnt explain very well.

mumface · 13/09/2010 19:49

CC- computers baffle me! I struggle to upload photos Blush
I am hoping to go to college when Connor starts nursery in a couple of years. I want to study psychotherapy and counselling. Then when I have done my studies I will have to do some voluntary counselling in order to gain experience.

OP posts:
purpletasha · 13/09/2010 20:21
