bubble99 · 09/08/2005 11:06

I'd come Custy. What did you do?

MABS · 09/08/2005 11:09

anorak · 09/08/2005 11:30

I'll come if you can get some tarts in pink feather boas to drag me on to the dance floor

Flossam · 09/08/2005 11:31

Depending on where I'd like to come! I, erm, wouldn't be on water!!!

fisil · 09/08/2005 11:36

Can we have the tarts and the Germans?

NomDePlume · 09/08/2005 12:02

Tortington · 09/08/2005 13:24

eggsellent - now i dont mind doing the organising but as i dont know london ( apart from how to get to the office) i would like some suggestions on venues with links if at all possible.

i am going to suggest a date of Nov 26th saturday - then we all get to save up and get to use decembers wages for xmas pressies. what you think?

Good idea, I guess it will depend on how many sign up, we can then realistically half that as there will be no shows and such like.

Custy do you know you had your own thread yesterday ???

Nbg · 09/08/2005 13:49

I would love to come. I'll wait and see if any of the others from up here are coming and if I can afford it.

Ailsa · 09/08/2005 13:50

Count me in.

handlemecarefully · 09/08/2005 13:51

I'd like to come depending on where it is. I haven't really done the meeting other mumsnetters thing before prefering anonymity, and because I don't want anyone to feel too inadequate when they meet my Elle Macpherson resembling self , but my curiousity is getting the better of me.

Nbg · 09/08/2005 13:56

Is it likely to be central London?

handlemecarefully · 09/08/2005 13:59

What about the London periphery like Richmond? Might be easier for travelling, and there are some nice places around there?

Nbg · 09/08/2005 14:00

Thats sounding good. My cousin has just moved there! I can stay with him

CountessDracula · 09/08/2005 14:04

how about something like this c

oliveoil · 09/08/2005 14:05

Wouldn't Manchester be more convenient for everyone???????

Nbg · 09/08/2005 14:07

Yes lets got there but only if we can have the inflatable sumo wrestlers, camel rodeo and on site security.

You don't know what the likes of some of you will get up to!

lemonice · 09/08/2005 14:12

From CDs link but more central Warwick haunted house party

handlemecarefully · 09/08/2005 14:22

CD - sounds interesting.

As does Warwick haunted house party.

My main criterion - don't know if anyone agrees? - is that it is fairly near to a decent-ish hotel so that I can stay over night (guaranteeing ability to consume booze)

Nbg · 09/08/2005 14:24

Well what about Travel lodges/inns? All their hotels are good and fairly cheap. Especially if some of you share.

handlemecarefully · 09/08/2005 14:24

Nbg, did you like my very british understatement of it "sounds interesting". I did wonder about the exotic dancers / performers too!

Nbg · 09/08/2005 14:31

lol!

When I first read it, I thought it just said Sumo wrestlers but then read the inflatable before it!

I'm sure we'll provide enough entertainment on our own!
