I have to say that Warwick is a lovely place to walk around and sober up the next day. It's not all that close to me but I would be happy to travel.....

lilibet · 09/08/2005 15:27

Would lvoe to come but London is too far - if there was one a bit more central.........

lilibet · 09/08/2005 15:31

Sorry - i'm a dozy mare - I hadn't read the thread

yep that all sounds good and there is a Travel lodge in Leamington Spa.

Flossam · 09/08/2005 15:48

I don't drive, was thinking this would be central london. I'll watch with interest and see where you end up choosing.

monkeytrousers · 09/08/2005 16:03

Warwick? Is that central?

monkeytrousers · 09/08/2005 16:03

How about Newcastle! I can show you the sights!!

lemonice · 09/08/2005 16:20

Warwick is located on this map more or less where stratford on Avon isHere

monkeytrousers · 09/08/2005 17:23

Nemo1977 · 09/08/2005 17:27

sorry everyone i think it should be london. i too would have to travel to london and there has to be a cut off point. if it starts getting messy people simply wont turn up - as per the other central manchester meet that didn't happen.

everyone would like it near their house - i would then suggest to come to sunny goring - gods waiting room.

so are you still up for it?

If its London, then I will come!

monkeytrousers · 09/08/2005 17:45

Would someone put me up if I come down from the foggy wastes?

Flossam · 09/08/2005 17:47

I'd come to London too, can jump on a tube to most places. MT, only got a two bed flat I'm afraid, so no room at the inn here (have recently got rid of our sofa bed too, so no more of DP's mates! Huraah! ).

MABS · 09/08/2005 17:49

I'd do Goring Custy, know a good venue too!!

lilibet · 09/08/2005 17:51
Sad
MABS · 09/08/2005 18:03

I'll do London too, but only if Custy promises to drink Long Island Iced Tea with me.

NomDePlume · 09/08/2005 18:11

Can't guarantee my attendance at a London meet up....

lilibet · 09/08/2005 18:13

Where are you Ndp?

Tortington · 09/08/2005 18:14

Worcester (about 30 miles north of Cheltenham), lillibet . Not as far north as many but it's still a ballache of a drive or a long old train journey.

MrsGordonRamsay · 09/08/2005 18:22

How about we have synchronised meet ups ??
