Where have you been Lyra?

Nowhere really. Around and about.
Been to vote - oddly enough my auntie (who works for my local council) and cousin are working at the polling station. DP voted before me and rang to say they were there.
I'm spending the evening/night at a local election count. I just have to file the result for my former employers so it means a lot of hanging around doing nowt. Last time I did a count I got home at about 5am. I'm hoping they'll count a bit quicker tonight.
DP is spending the night at Canary Wharf so the boys are having a sleepover with my mum.

That sounds grim Lyra. Hope you are in bed a little earlier this year.
Have done the deed. Roll on bedtime. Had enough of them today.

Just got home. Long and boring night. The incumbent won his seat back - so not worth waiting up for.
But my horrible witch of an MP lost her seat so I'm pleased.

Dissapointing but not very surprising result in our constituency. Crap system.

Found it. We've changed from labour to conservative.

We've dumped Susan Kramer in favour of Zac Goldsmith. I'm not a Tory voter but I'm very pleased with this result. He'll be so much better for this constituency.

He did a lot of gladhanding didn't he. He came down my brother's street and invited them to a cricket match.

No he was busy that day. I think it was a charity thing on Ham Common which is at the end of his road.

We started of watching Dr Who but it kept sticking. I thought the download hadn't gone well so we moved onto Fringe but it kept happening with that too.

Ah yes of course. My nephew is due to start in September but I don't remember the names of the schools he was trying to get into.
Let me think of the data protection issues of putting his street on here! I'd e-mail you but when we reformatted the computers we stored our addresses on the external hard disk and never retrieved them!
