Hellooooooo!

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 27/04/2010 08:36

Didn't get chance to watch it last night as dh was at a Council meeting. Will watch tonight probably.

ghostofoggs · 28/04/2010 20:22

Everyone ok?

Berrie · 29/04/2010 07:57

Alright thanks. Been a bit down because my back has been crap but it's ok today.
Did you see Dr Who yet?

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 29/04/2010 12:48

Not yet. Car buggered up on way home from school. Dh had to tow us back home then shoot of to take dd to guides in tipper truck, so they weren't back unttil late then it just didn't happen.
Hopefully tonight.

ghostofoggs · 29/04/2010 20:15

Hee!

Berrie · 30/04/2010 07:42

I don't get it!? Is something supposed to happen after the first screen or is that it?

OP posts:
Berrie · 30/04/2010 07:42

Tipper truck ?

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 30/04/2010 14:19

Nothing else happens. You are supposed to find yourself reading it in your head in his accent.
Tch!

Actually I found myself reading it in his scottish accent.

Yup. Bright red tipper truck.
He's fixed the car now though. We don't have a heater though.

Will be watching DW tonight, followed by a light infusion of Fringe.
Last couple of nights I've been watching Outnumbered in the other room on my own.
I love, love, love it.
Dh doesn't.

Berrie · 30/04/2010 19:22

Oh
On contemplating this strange thing you sent me, I also heard his scottish accent though I'm not sure I did the first time.

Dh is out this evening but there is nothing on. I wonder if there is anything on Iplayer worth watching.

OP posts:
Berrie · 30/04/2010 20:39

Nope

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 01/05/2010 17:02

Watched Dr Who last night and was decidedly unimpressed.
Could be that I was two sheets to the wind by the time we got around to watching it though

Took dd to see Fantastic Mr Fox today. It was odd.

Berrie · 02/05/2010 08:05

Last night's was much better and I had cause for a couple of leery moments. Tis much beter when his hair covers the front of his massive head. He is going to be a very ugly old man.

I didn't like Fantastic Mr Fox either.

Family day today. An annual event where my mother's side of the family get together. It's at our house though as it's my mother's turn and our house is bigger. We got the garden about as tidy as it's ever going to get yesterday. The house needs some work this morning. I could do with nipping to Asda but I'm not sure I can pull that in. Wonder what time it opens?

Ours is a 24 hr one.
Hope you have a lovely stress-free day

Berrie · 02/05/2010 19:43

Evening.
Day was ok but much too cold for outside which is slightly unhappy when there are 18 people in our little house! we walked up to the allotment to see the blossom and the bluebells but it was very very cold. Brrrrrr!
Must add that there was a bit of Dr Who I did not approve of and am not sure I want my 6 year old to see. Tut!

OP posts:
Berrie · 03/05/2010 21:29

Tee hee. Ang Joli wearing my brother's glasses

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 04/05/2010 07:31

Tsk! Surely she can afford a pair of her own?

Berrie · 04/05/2010 08:31

Lyra has deserted us.

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 04/05/2010 12:12

Maybe she has a lot going on in RL.

Just you and me then? Ooh. That's reminded me I must install Windows Live again.
Bloody printer won't print since I installed Windows 7

Berrie · 04/05/2010 12:49

We've ordered a new lap top. We cannot cope a minute longer with what we've got.

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 04/05/2010 18:46

Finally managed to get printer working. Two sodding days it's taken me. I was just on the verge of ordering a new one

Just downloading Doctor Who. I accidentally saw a spoiler review and I'm guessing the bit you are not happy with was Amy trying to get it on with the Doctor??

Berrie · 05/05/2010 08:02

Yes indeed. How does one explain why she is trying to drag him onto a bed to a 6 year old? I know it will have just gone over his head but still. Not necessary. I made sure I was out of the room. Rose and DT were far more subtle - sigh.

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 05/05/2010 11:34

Apparently the BBC have had some complaints. I must say that up to now I'm not overly impressed with Stephen Moffat's writing

Berrie · 05/05/2010 12:41

Tush Mr Moff. Get a grip!

OP posts:
Berrie · 06/05/2010 08:16

No school today. Polling station.
I don't know whether to go and vote with dh later or go with the kids this morning.

What about you?

OP posts:
ghostofoggs · 06/05/2010 10:12

We vote in the village hall so school as usual.
We voted this morning before dropping dd off. We took her in with us to show her what happens/how we vote.

Got loads of paperwork to do today and desperately need to get my stash of yarn in order. It's in big opaque boxes, stacked in the living room and has been referred to as 'the wall of wool'
